We received Celeste when our daughter was only a year old. At first sight I thought she was an interesting choice for a doll, but very quickly our daughter grew very fond of her and started to bring her everywhere. Moulin Roty's Celeste doll is a good quality product, and this is the 2nd purchase we are making. Where other kids have a blanket or pacifier, our daughter has been using Celeste's hands as a chew toy when teething. Our daughter is now 2 1/2 years old and Celeste has gradually lost both of her hands to the point where she is no longer safe. Since our daughter has been "eating" her toy we have been washing her every week, and except for the hands, Celeste is still in very good condition :)
We now also own Moulin Roty's Les Parisiennes doll "Mademoiselle Eglantine" (we call her Maddie) and although our daughter loves Maddie she cannot sleep without Celeste.
The comfort these little dolls have brought to our lives far outweigh the cost of the doll.
I would recommend every mom to purchase this doll for their little girl.
