It seemed from the description that the dog was 12 inches but right at check out it said "8". My granddaughter just had if with her for Thanksgiving & it is very small. One can almost not recognize it as a German Shepherd which was something she really wanted. Overall the price was good but was very disappointed with the size. Gives new meaning to the " you get what you pay for" saying.
Very cute, looks as pictured. However, when I was shopping for this item I noticed that it came in two sizes. An 8" that cost around $8 and a 12" which is what I purchased for $11.95. My first order was lost and never arrived. I obtained a refund and then re-ordered the same item. I received it today and was very unhappy to see that the item is 8" in length and not the 12" size that is advertised on the site. I would have not purchased this item if it was the smaller version because it is for an older child. I will most likely return it.

Cute, furry and just the right size for hugging for children. The front paws are stiffer so that the toy will sit up without help. It was the best German Shepherd likeness I found on the internet, and very soft as well.
