This turned out to be the perfect item to help our 6 month old baby self soothe and sleep unswaddled. I held bunny against me as I fed the baby at night for several nights and guided her hand to play with bunny's ears. When, several nights later, I slept her with one arm of the swaddle out for the first time she fell asleep just fine holding onto the bunny. Note: I checked with my pediatrician that it was okay to have the toy in the bed (not a smothering risk). She said it was fine because the baby is old enough to have good head control. Please check with your pediatrician first if you plan to sleep your baby with this or any other item in the crib. The bunny is a winner. It's soft, organic, the perfect size and adorable. I have just purchased a second one as a back up for when one is in the wash.

It is very soft and lovely. Though there is a nail size yellow spot on the tail. Might check it before mailing it out.

Great Item, 5 stars. I had the Panda and decided to get a 2nd one for my son, so I got the lion. From the picture, it looks like blue and reddish, however it's pink and a lighter hue for the blue. I'll keep it in hopes our next little one is a girl.
