Also, this toy has an interesting texture. As you roll the ball in your hand you'll feel the little heads popping out a little in your palm.
I believe this is the first toy my son actually grabbed successfully and grabbed with realization that he could shape his hand to fit the object he reaches for. Now my son is 7 months old and he still loves to play with this toy. He still reaches for it, he follows it with his head when it rolls, and he tries to crawl/scoot/shimmy toward it in his effort to become a mobile baby.
I'm rating this toy very well because that has been my experience with it.
My questions & concerns compared with the Peek-a-boo Ball:
I'm not sure what the difference is between this toy and the Wonderworld Peek-a-boo Ball. The only difference I can see is that one is blue and the other is green... and the only difference I can read is that one is marked for 3 month+ (the green ball called Hide'n seek) and the other is marked for 12 month+ (the blue ball called Peek-a-boo) all other written specifications look the same. (Interestingly, there is a 2 dollar price difference, the Hide'n seek version being cheaper). I didn't realize the Peek-a-boo version existed until it popped up after searching for the Wonderworld Hide'n seek product in order to review it.
I'm concerned about the number of reviews there that name the Peek-a-boo toy as a choking hazard (saying the heads pop out of ball).
I examined my Hide'n seek toy and it appears to be very sturdy as in, it looks as though there is no way the heads will pop out. Also, my son has played with this toy a lot (including dropping the toy on a wooden floor and biting the toy with two bottom teeth) and there doesn't appear to be any wear on the toy's surface. Despite that, because of the Peek-a-boo ball's reviews, I'm now going to inspect this toy more often and watch my son play with it more carefully...
Anyone out there with both the Hide'n seek and the Peek-a-boo ball who can fully compare the two, especially in regards to their quality/sturdiness?
