But have vinal floors and the product doesn't roll on it. It doesn't even roll on her foam mat I am totally bummed

This is a cute toy. It doesn't move well on carpet, but that was expected. We just used it on the wood floor and it glides right along. My son never really did crawl after it, but he really enjoyed playing with it.

Our 9 month old got this for Christmas from Grandma this year. This toy was the first one opened at the big family gathering, and he was barely interested in anything else the rest of the evening! He chased it around for at least an hour. As of yet, he isn't quite understanding that he needs to push the turtle to make it go. He just bats it around with his hands and follows it everywhere. He laughs when we push the turtle and make the Cheetah bump into him. I will say that this toy does seem to have a little trouble gliding on carpet, but ours still rolls, just not as quickly or easily. I think this toy is well worth the price for the hours of entertainment your child will get out of it!

I bought this for my 8 month old nephew and it is one of the few toys he actually plays with. Because he's crawling all over he loves chasing this or having it move towards him. The cheetah is very easy to work and contrary to the other reviews we've had no problem making this move when you press the turtle.
