Infantino Farm Roller

Infantino Farm RollerThe plastic smells awful. It was so strong I couldn't stand to use the toy.

While I must agree this was bigger than I expected my son likes it.. He went crazy over it when I put all of his other toys away & just left him and this alone to play.. he just mastered crawling. he is 8 months now learned to push it to furniture and climb up on it.. Not very safe but I always supervise while playing with this now.

This roller was much larger than I expected. I got it to help my son learn to crawl, but it was much too big for that. He does like looking at the animals on it, but really there's not much else he can do with it. I think that by the time he is large enough to use it as a roller, he won't need/want to use it anymore.

My baby loved this toy and I credit it for helping him become an early crawler. At around 4 months, he loved to kick the inflated tube when held over him while on his back. At around 4 1/2 months, he would rock against the tube on his knees, and eventually learned to hold on to it. Once he mastered this skill, he was crawling in 2 days. He's had lots of fun with it.

It's also a great toy to take while traveling because you can easily deflate and reinflate it.

When I opened the box for this toy, it reeked of chemicals. Even after I let it air out for a day, I could still smell it. I didn't dare give this to my baby. I couldn't imagine her possibly licking the paint off this crawl toy and decided not to risk it. Good thing it was just a gift. I say pass to this Infantino farm roller crawl toy. Spend your money elsewhere.
