Dolly is huggable and very well made. Will hold up to hugging and loving without falling apart. There are other versions also.
My toddler loves her stuffed animals, but since Grandma got her a tea set, I thought she'd like a little doll to share with the fun. This doll is SMALL. I guess it's because it's so that a toddler (or baby) can hold it and crawl/walk around with it without it banging into anything or themselves, but still... She's not as interested in it as I hoped she would be. I thought it was kinda cute (kinda looks like my toddler when she was in the chubby baby stage). Maybe she'll warm up to it in a few months. It IS durable, though. It's gone through the wash (regular cycle, oops) and dryer (medium heat, oops), and it's FINE. Very squooshy, and easy to bring along in the car if little one wants a companion.

Very cute doll. Soft, squishy and good for baby. It looks more tan in the photo than it actually is in person. That's the only downside.
