Sevi B My Prince Cross Mobile Toy

This mobile is wonderful. Perfect for a boy or girl (or both!). It is made from wood and comes in the vibrant colors shown on screen note that the boy's grass is a lighter green than the girl's grass. The only problem I have is that when I took it out of the box and held it up to admire, I noticed that it hangs crooked. The four top bars are not at all level. This is very unfortunate. I thought when I bought an eco-friendly, European-made, high-quality, wooden piece of decor, it would come with impeccable craftsmanship. Rather than send it back five hundred times trying to find a level version, we've decided to weight one side of it my husband swears he can make it level by weighting the lighter side. We'll see! I have been eying these Sevi products for quite some time and will likely buy more items because of the wood, non-toxic paint, and adorable non-winnie-the-pooh colors and style. However, I will pay special attention to the craftsmanship. If they continue to come with problems, I will not continue purchasing them. Anyone know how wide of a crib railing the mobile arm/holder will fasten to (the swirl version, not the cloud version)?? I am nervous to buy it until I'm sure it will fit our railing!

UPDATE I spoke with a person from the Sevi distributor who told me that each of these is handmade so they are commonly not 100% level. He asked me to take a picture of the mobile from the side and email it to him so that he could let me know whether or not my particular mobile was normal or defective. Great customer service!

i love, love, love sevi products. for both of my kids first christmases they received sevi music boxes and i bought this mobile for my daughter who is much more content to lie in her co-sleeper and stare up at things than my son ever was. you have to give it a little push, but it will move slowly on it's on. my only complaint is that the wood holder that would have went so nicely with it was poorly recommended, so i purchased the suggested plastic one which honestly isn't great either AND it's plastic. i'm constant adjusting it. :/ maybe do a bit more looking for a better holder. but the quality of the mobile is fantastic, i love the story of the girl chasing her prince. :)
