This toy fit the need (I'd been looking for a ride-on fire truck toy that was inexpensive), but when I received it all of the stickers on the tires were popped/torn. There is a hole in the wheel to allow for the axle to click into the wheel, but the stickers that are over these holes are very cheap and came already torn. I had looked so long for an inexpensive ride-on fire truck toy that I just resolved to make construction-paper replicas of the stickers and taped them on with packaging tape. Otherwise, the steering wheel seems to be locked (maybe this is/was a safety feature?), but it still seems like a fun toy.
