We received this as a gift for a trip a few months ago, when our son was bout 6-7 months old. He can not stop playing with it, even now at 11 months. There are three different modes and a variety of buttons that play different songs, numbers and noises. I would definitely buy this for someone else's childMy 21-month-old just loves this phone. It has several modes, one of which is just a touch tone ringer mode and sounds like a real phone. She loves to hold it to her ear and pretend she's having a convo on it. Her eyes get really big when she presses the phone ringing button pretending like she has an incoming phone call. TOO cute!Buy Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone Now
For the money, this has more functions than I expected.Son loves it, and I love the fact that the speaker is very soft (which I thought was a problem at the beginning), cause babies will take it to their ear, so there is no worry of hearing loss due to high dB.

I was expecting something much more interesting and engaging for our baby (8 months) but he does not seem to like the toy that much. Maybe when he is a little older and understands what a phone is and can pretend play with it he will like it but for a baby 8 months and under, it will sit in the bin. Give him/her an old cell phone.Want Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone Discount?
My boy is already three and the batteries are still working. Welll, the sound is not as loud as it used to be, but it's there !The songs are adorable and it counts when you press the numbers.
And babies and toddlers are just crazy about telephones ! It's very handy to have it on your changing bag, so the baby will stay quiet while you do the dirt job !
