Little Red Riding Hood Costume

Little Red Riding Hood Costumeeveryone complimented my daughter in this costumeit was really cute! It ran small thoughas in, it was almost too small for her at 10 months old. She is long, but she's skinny, so I would have thought it would be fine.

Really cute costume. Have gotten several compliments already, and it's not even halloween yet. The only thing is, the seams are a little fragile, however since I sew, i just added a couple extra seams here and there and its as sturdy as ever.

My daughter had this costume for Halloween this year. She was just a week over 16 months and 23 lbs. The costume fit her very nicely and I got a lot of compliments on it before it fell apart. The black ribbon on the front started to fray almost immediately. As she wore it, one of the seams under the armpits completely opened up. It got sticky from the candy she was handling so I washed it. What a mistake! The white blouse came apart from the red waistband in 4 places and the fabric itself started to unravel. All I can say is that the manufacturer was trying so desperately to save on fabric that they didn't even leave enough room at the seams for it to stay together. I loved the look of the costume for its one purpose, but was really disappointed in the quality. My daugher may not have worn it again, but now I can't even use it for a costume swap or to give it to another little girl to wear. It's such a mess I can't even donate it.

I got this costume for my 14.5 month old, right around 20 pounds. It fit very well, only very slightly on the small side, and everyone at the Old Town, Albuquerque thought she was adorable!

I got this for my 2 year old and it was super cute on her and fit great (she's on the smaller side). This is a costume I plan on keeping for my younger to wear when she is old enough. All materials were soft and did not bother her at all.
