This is a really cute toy! I bought it for my grandson, who is 7 months old. After he watched his Mommy put the boulders down the chutes, he figured out how to do it himself. And the trucks are a good fit, for his little hands. A good hand eye coordination, for your little one!

I bought this toy for my 6 month old son. He is still a little too small to enjoy it thoroughly. He likes the noises it makes when the boulder's drop into the dump truck, and he likes to play with the dump truck and bulldozer. He is not however old enough to play with it by himself yet, but I hope it will help teach him cause and affect, you scoot the dump truck down the ramp and a boulder comes out and lands in the dump truck box. I think eventually, he will come to love this toy.

This toy was purchased for our son as a shower gift and is rated for 6 months and up. We gave it to him right before he turned 6 months and so far he loves it! It teaches cause and effect (he quickly learned to pull the red lever when you want it to make noise!) plus the cars move very easily and have good grooves for his chubby hands to grasp. Great starter "car" toy for when babies are too little play with hot wheels or matchbox!
