I bought this rattle with some other baby toys last January 2010. Recently we wanted to introduce this toy to our baby, but noticed that most of the paint was cracked and chipped off in tiny pieces. Bizarre. Called Amazon and they are going to investigate this product. Please be aware if you already purchased this rattle.
These toys are wonderful. I bought a bunch for my grandchildren who are 1 and 2 years old. They both enjoy playing with the toys and I love that they are playing with something that I know are safe.
