1.2.3 Forest Animal Park

Our Playmobil 123 sets have been my daughter's absolute favorite toys for an entire year. Now two years old, she has literally played with them every day since she got them for a first birthday present. The Forest Animal Park set is a great choice because it has an entire people family -two parents and two kids -plus a couple animal families (deer, pigs). The fence, cave, and trees help make good obstacle courses for the people and animals. Probably not all children will be quite as enthralled with the Playmobil 123 sets as mine, but I would recommend these for any toddler because:

1. the people and animals make good security objects to take in the car

2. the setting and characters are just right for all kinds of pretend play

3. they're great for fine motor skills (standing them upright, getting them to sit, and even stacking some of them)

4. they're fun and safe in the bathtub (and usually float!)

5. you'd have to work pretty hard to get them stuffed in your mouth.

My nephew who is one and a half years old absolutely loves this toy. He can't part with it. Thank you.
