My daughter can't get through the day without her "Petey". We bought four so we can rotate and wash them. She sleeps with them, has them at naps, and if she requests her Petey, then the lovey really helps in stressful situations (shots at the doctor anyone?). The lovey is very soft, and we wash them in the regular laundry in a lingere bag, and hang to dry.
