The string that the child is supposed to pull the toy with is about 5 inches long...so unless you tie something to that to make it longer, I can't imagine my child using it as intended because he will get so fed up with it running into him before it becomes entertaining. Other than that, it's super cute and really good quality.
I purchased this at Toys R Us, which actually has better pricing than amazon and I got it a store closing, so it was even cheaper. I am not sure I would purchase this at full price, but the plush monkey and banana are high quality and the wood wheel mechanism is very nice. If your child is small, you can detach the wooden part so that he doesn't hurt himself.
