Although this duck can't take the place of my daughter's other beloved (but retired) jellycat animals she does enjoy giving it hugs. It's so soft and squishy. It's tough to find a full picture of some of the jellycat animals. The height is the total height, toes to head. The legs are short, about 2.5".

This is the first Jellycat animal I've bought. I first purchased the small but I thought it was too small for my almost three year old. She wants a Duck theme birthday so I bought this to sit inside a wreath but when she saw the Jellycat Bashful Black & Cream Puppy (large) I bought for another child I had to bring this out. The duck has traveled with us and he sleeps in her bed. I highly recommend this or any other Jellycat product, at least from the Bashful or Woodland line.

I ordered one for my son for Easter, and it is to cute! I went with Jellycat because they are supposed to have the softest stuffed animals and so far that is true. I can't comment on the durability yet, but based on first impressions it is top quality. Will definately be buying more Jellycat animals in the future.
