Munch Silicone Teether - 3 Ring

The one star is only because of the design. I am soooo disappointed in this product. I feel this product would work great as a teether if it was just constructed properly. When I first opened it I could see that the edges had excess silicon on it, as if the press didn't cut it all off. Also on two of the textured surfaces there were bubbles in the silicon. With a light scratch of my nail on the bubbles the silicon ripped off. This means that all these little partials of silicon from the edges or the textured surfaces would be ingested by my baby. They are not choking hazards but still I don't want them in my child and they could go down the airway and be stuck in their lungs forever. I can't believe anyone would manufacture such a terrible product for kids ESPECIALY if they are going to put it in their MOUTHS! This is going in the garbage, wouldn't even give it to a dog, STAY AWAY!

I bought this teether for my nephew b/c we received the same one as a gift for my child. My child loves to grab and chew on it. It's very durable. Zoli also makes them in other shapes. The only thing I'd like to improve about it is to make the silicone material a color rather than clear. For young babies, a clear object is harder to see or catch their attention. Even a slightly colored silicone material would be more effective. Also, it's made in Vietnam...for those of you who look for "MADE IN..." info.

My 8 month old son loves this teether. The hole in the middle makes it easy to hold. He loves feeling the different textures on each 'petal.' He kept trying to chew on flat plastic things like my keychain and he likes putting tags in his mouth, so I figured he would like this teether. He loves it! He wouldn't put it down for more than a few seconds the first time I gave it to him. He often tries to carry it around with him as he crawls! I also love the fact that it is BPA and phthalate free. My one complaint is that it's hard for me to find because it is clear. However, HE always seems to find it!

The picture is misleading. It implies that this is a 3 pack of teethers when in fact it is only one item. Had I known, I would have skipped this item and just purchased a BPA/pthalate free teether locally or better, from GreenSprouts, which seems to offer a better deal. I will keep it because I was looking for something healthier than the unlabeled ones, but still there is that lingering feeling of having been hoodwinked.

This teether was so popular with our daughter around the time she was 6 months old. She loved being able to easily hold it herself and chew on it. We were so sad when our daycare lost it and will definitely replace it for our next baby.
