Toy companies often make toys that are too loud for home use, but this is actually dangerous and could be avoided by providing a volume level switch or by lessening the max volume altogether. My son loves this duck but it is honestly a painfully annoying toy. It is loud, has no volume switch, no on-off switch, and plays these long blaring songs.
It is going bye-bye very soon.

I actually bought this to replace one that my 3 year-old Poodle had. When I got a new Poodle puppy, she pulled and played so much with it that she kept it up until she broke it......and so both dogs kept looking for the musical Duck and I was so happy to find it on Amazon. They both pull and play music all day long on it and it is one of their favorite toys. and yes, my great Grandson likes it, too. When he is old enough, I will get another for him. Thanks.Purchased this for my daughter (at another store) this is a neat toy with a MAJOR flaw. The toy is WAY too loud and can damage your child's hearing. There is no volume control and the only way to make it softer is to insert half-dead batteries. I honestly can't believe this is for sale by any reputable store. Hopefully, enough bad reviews will get this pulled or recalled and fixed with some sort of volume control.Want Megcos Pull-Along Musical Duck -Affordable Gift for your Little One! Grammie sent us 2 of these ducks for our twin boys when they were 3 months old...Now, at 10 months, they still LOVE them! They are their favorite toy-they pull on the nylon string and like to chew on it, they like being able to play music on their own, the buttons light up, the duck has wheels, and its made of sturdy hard plastic. Am looking to see if this manufacturer makes other toys like this as it has been a great toy, keeps the boys busy and exploring their curiosity for 30-45 min at a pop.
