Baby Einstein Music and Rattle Saxophone

This toy is a fun toy because like others said it keeps baby's attention, but Baby Einstein also makes the "Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes" which is basically a better version of the toy above. The one above has what look like lights but are actually painted in circles, whereas the Take Along Tunes have actual lights that light up to the music. Also the music on the one above is pretty short, lasting maybe about 10 seconds where the Take Along Tunes have a better quality audio and last 30-45 seconds..

My six-month old enjoys playing with this.

Pro's:

Rattle+Music: It's nice that it has both the rattle and the music-the rattle will keep babies entertained even when they're not able to turn the music on themselves.

Nice Music: This has nice quality music that isn't too annoying for parents to listen to over and over again. It plays 4 classic tunes when the yellow caterpillar button is pushed.

Easy to Hold: This was easy for my son to pick up and hold on his own.

Fun Mirror and Beads: The end of the saxophone where the rattle is has a mirror on it and is covered in clear plastic so you can see the colorful beads rattling around. This is fun for babies to look at.

Con's:

Only One Button Works: The only button that does anything is the yellow caterpillar button. I wish that all of the buttons worked.

Colorful Button's Only on One Side: The colorful buttons are only on one side of this. The other side is just plain white plastic with indentations where the buttons would be. I wish it had the buttons on both side.

I ended up have to ditch this one because he kept knocking himself in the head with it, but the toy works as advertised. Only the yellow button works though, and as another post said, the side not shown only has white indents where the coloring should be.

My baby girl loves this toy. She loves to shake it and press the button to here the music while she shakes so that she can dance. I am happy I made this purchase.
