This toy has metal wire in it. That is ok. The problem was in many areas the seams weren't sewn properly and the wire is exposed.
I could see maybe one seam with a problem. But I counted at least 7 exposed wires and open seams. Dangerous for a child.
My 8 month old loves to crawl back and forth in this tunnel. She loves when we roll a toy through and she can follow after or when we simply place a toy on either end of the tunnel. I really appreciate the way the tunnel folds up and is put away and stored so easily. We are really pleased with the purchase!
