I have two daughters, so we have been through several differnt types of baby dolls over the years. THIS doll is THE BEST! She is the PERFECT size for my two-year-old daughter to carry around. She can be thrown in the washing machine if needed. The facial, hand and foot features are adorable! And this particular outfit is so cute! My 7-year-old and 2-year-old daughters both love this doll and so do I! In fact, when my daughter lost her first one, I replaced it with a second one because it was our favorite!

This doll is so nice. A lot better quality than you can find at the large chain stores for around the same price. I ordered my daughter two doll and my niece one, and they both love them. They are 18 months and 2 years old and my daughter acts like it is a real baby, giving it a bottle and burping it. Perfect size for a child that age or even older. Worth the price!

I bought this Corolle doll for my 10 month old daughter. My daughter has giggled and smiled, hugged and cooed. She sleeps with the doll and wakes up smelling like soft vanilla-really! I love the vanilla scented doll. The doll has a pretty face, open smiling lips and brown/hazel eyes that sleep. The vinyl head, arms and legs are smooth. The doll's head turns. It doesn't have actual hairno matted mop of hair, just sculpted hair textured head. The body is fabric, stuffed and also filled with beans so it can sit on its own. The outfit is nicely made: knit hat, [quilters] cotton shirt and pants, and to finish it off, a boucle-like sweater jacket. Each piece is able to come off to wash.

My Daughter has a couple of the Corolle rag dolls and [we] love them. This, Mon Premier Calin, having more life-like features, gets more reactions from my little girl. I see my girl talking to the doll, holding hands and giving kisses.

The doll is a small 12" baby doll well appropriate, I think, for a 10 month up to any age girl that loves playing dolls/house. I would recommend this doll (or any Corolle doll) to anyone!!

I had purchased a Corolle Calin baby perhaps ten years ago, set it aside, and presented it to my son earlier this year, just before he turned three. He has a baby sister, and immediately took to "Naptime Baby", as we call the doll. She has survived all sorts of adventures with her "daddy", including being dropped out the fourth-floor window of a hotel room earlier this summer (he wanted to see if she could fly). She has a bright, cheerful, realistic look to her and a light vanilla scent. Her cloth body is full of plastic pellets, and therefore she can curl up just like a real baby, and toddlers seem to find her to be as cuddly as a real baby, too! My daughter, who is nearly fourteen months old, has become so attached to her brother's doll that I decided to order her this version today. I had an early Corolle Calin baby doll as a child, and its appeal made it easy to decide on a first baby for my own children.

Update: The doll arrived today and was an immediate hit with both children. For customers used to the older (circa 2000 and older) model, this baby has fewer pellets inside and much softer stuffing. Her skin is a pretty olive tone, and she has soft, lovely eyelashes which my three-year-old noticed immediately. The texture of her skin seems slightly less silky than the older models, and her vanilla scent is slightly different. The quality of the fabric and stitching of her clothes is truly exceptional. My 14-month-old has been carrying her around all afternoon, hugging and kissing her. An excellent choice for a baby's first baby.
