Plush Turtle Ball Pit Baby Toy Playcenter

Plush Turtle Ball Pit Baby Toy PlaycenterMy son got this as a gift from a family member at Christmas when he was 6 months old and we kept it until he was about a year and a half old. He never went to it by himself. I had to be the one to put him in it and TRY to make him play with it. He only liked it when I would roll the balls out and he would chase them. But we can play that "game" with any type of ball. We finally gave it away. It took up too much space for very very rarely being played with. On the plus side, it was soft, had different textured patches (although it never drew my son's attention), and was colorful. I liked that it zipped up to contain the balls, but one of the "patches" was actually a square hole and the balls would slip out anyway. I also think they could have put more balls and ones that were more durable. So overall, it looks cute, but if it's not played with then it's a dud.

I got this for my son for his 1 year birthday...the pit is so colorful and cute but within minutes he had every single ball punctured from his teeth. For a kids product the balls should be more durable so that they arent ruined right away. Very cheap product and do not recommend.

All in all, this toy will be something my infant daughter can play with for a long time. It is soft, colorful, has several fun and interesting add ons (crinkly patches, mirror, etc). My biggest complaint would be the balls themselves. One: they did not provide very many so it is very sparse (the product details did advise the number, etc so I was planning to get additional anyways; also, the number seemed a differentiator between this and a few others on the market). Two: the balls are flimsy. Other reviewers mention this and they are right, but not a huge issue to me. Three: the size of the balls they provide are too small. There are holes in the shell for kids to play with. The balls provided are small enough to fit through the holes so when filling it up, they kept falling out, etc. not fond of that. I purchased replacement balls which are a bit larger, so happier with that result.
