Skip Hop Treetop Friends Flapping Owl Pull Toy

I bought this for our soon to be born child (I know, way too early for this toy but bear with me).

I was chasing our cats and dogs around with it at a moderate pace (this thing is hilarious)! When I got done I picked it up to take a look at it and one of the rubber bands had come off of the wheels. The construction, I believe, to be quite solid surprisingly. And if memory serves, the rubber band can't actually come free from the owl itself (and pose a choking risk), but be aware that this may be an issue. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about.

Edit: the two front wheel rubber bands cannot come loose from the owl unless they break. The two rear wheels CAN and the rubber bands could pose an issue. You may be able to get the same functionality without the rear rubber bands.

OMG, this little owl is so cute! Gave it to my 18m old niece for Christmas and she loved it :) All of us got a kick out of watching her giggle as she pulled it around. The head did pop off that night but we just super glued it back on. I still give this product 5 stars for sheer cuteness.

The owl is a cute toy. Unfortunately, shortly after it started getting pulled around the head came off. The rope is attached at the point were it is glued to the rest of the toy so I fear that this owls head will be hard to keep attached.

The string between the wing and the wheel gets twisted and then it stops moving/flapping. Wish it would have worked better because my daughter loves it but I don't think it will be around very long. I'm constantly unwinding the sides and it's not very easy to do.

This owl is so cute. I put it in my 16 month old son's Easter basket and my 2 year old son plays with it a whole lot more! The string is a good length, so no real complaints other than sometimes it "sticks" when being pulled and the wheel doesn't turn real smooth causing it to tip over. But overall, it is much better than I thought it would be!
