Super Mario Child Costume

My 5 year old really wanted to be Mario this Halloween and this was the only place I could find it where it wasn't sold out. A lot of fun, easy to wear. My son doesn't like big bulky costumes that cover his head, so just having a hat was perfect. The mustache was a little big so we needed to trim it a bit. I think it ran a little small. I purchased the small, which basesd on the description should have been fine, esp since my son is slim for his age. It was a little short in the sleeves and legs. He was able to wear a LS shirt and sweats underneath, but just barely. I might suggest ordering a size up.

Our son desperately wanted these costumes. The Seller (Toynk Toys) was excellent. Items were shipped and arrived in a timely manner. My issue with the costumes is that they are made from flimsy nylon, the gloves are too big for adults, the moustache covered almost the entire face and the blow up belly was just annoying. Quality of the costume material is definitely not worth the price...BUT, our son does love them. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have bothered to get the "deluxe" version.

let's clarify something, I'd bought the size L because I'd read a lot of review and the said that the costume was too small, Well in my case I'd bought the: Super Mario Brothers, Deluxe Mario Costume, Large, and it is relly, really big, i had to pay a taylor to reduce the Size of the costume..... Putting all that aside I must said: it's a Great experience, My Son adores this costume, this has it all: Hat; Gloves, Mustache and Inflatable belly, He wore them all, ... If your Son loves Mario What are you waiting for? buy it!!! I can't really describe with words how much He loves to wears this costume, I HIGLY RECOMENDEND THE COSTUME, VERY GOOD MADE AND QUALITY!!! Also I must said: Amazom has the best price, Good for them!!!!

This is one of those cheaply made but perfectly adequate costumes. My son is obsessed with Super Mario Bros. so he is very happy to have it.

Be aware that the sizing is weird. In another listing for this costume I saw that medium meant size 8-10. My son normally wears a 7, so I figured it would be best to order a costume on the big side. The package that arrived does say it fits USA size 8-10. But underneath it says it's for ages 5-7. So it wasn't big on my son at all. In fact, it only just fits. Had I realized this I would have ordered a large.

My son asked for a Super Mario costume for his fifth birthday, and this product is what I came across in my search and purchased. The costume is very brightly colored, well-fitted, and sturdy. It's easy to wash, although you have to wash it by hand, and dries relatively quickly much to the delight of the mother of a child who wants to wear it everyday!

The only complaint I had was the quality of the mustache. The mustache has a sticky backing and can really only be used once or twice before it loses its ability to stay on his face. If you're purchasing this costume for Halloween or another event where you're just going to wear it once, it should be just fine.

Overall, this costume is a great addition to my son's Dress Up Box and I would recommend it to any parent of a little Super Mario!
