We received this lion toy as a shower gift when our first daughter was born 4 years ago (same exact colors as this one) and it's now entertaining daughter #3. All three girls seemed to follow the same timeline with the lion-from 1-3 months just pulling on him would immediately stop their fussing/crying (probably because they were so startled by it!), they would "discover" the lion hanging on their carseat handle around 4 months, started pulling on his legs by themselves around 5 months, and around 6 months were unable to fall asleep in the carseat without a few good yanks first. :-) None of our girls have been good car sleepers, so this poor lion has been through the wringer over the last four years...but still looks as good as new---not a single loose stitch anywhere! I think that's impressive!It's good for the babies, AND the parents, too--my husband and I always crack up when, in the midst of their angry screaming about being exhausted but still stuck in the car, we'll hear the lion yanked up and down repeatedly and rapidly numerous times...usually followed by silence. Helps relieve some of that "travel tension"!
