I bought this for my daughter a little bit before she was ready for it and it ended up sitting on the shelf for a while. Now that she's 18 months, she's much more interested in it. Its one of the first toys she takes off the shelf and she'll play with it throughout the day. The colors are really bright & the little wooden pegs are really sturdy (she's turned the board upside down and stood on it countless times.) It's a nice toy for not only counting, but for shape and color identification. The only thing that confuses her a little is that is she turns the pieces different ways she can fit them onto the wrong pegs. All in all though its a great learning toy.
Bright, durable, eco-friendly toy! Our 14 mo just got it as a gift. She loves taking off the shapes and putting them down on pegs. We count and name shapes:)This is a quality toy. Feels nice when holding those shapes,pegs are durable-do not fall out as in other similar toys. Great buy!!!
