My daughter loves this toy. She is also a child who has a pretty good attention span for a 1 year old so keep that in mind, but she will play with this toy for 30 minutes without reaching for anything else. It is loud, does have volume control, and if you are easily annoyed I am sure the songs would be annoying. I personally believe that noise and repetition come along with having children, so I tune it out. She absolutely loves when I sing the lyrics and dance with her though. The songs are upbeat and being able to change them and "d.j." if you will is very cute.

My son think's this is so entertaining when walking around the house. Great distractor when he shouldn't be getting into something else.

For the size and price, this toy is an excellent value that provides a great deal of entertainment. My son has played with this toy since February very frequently, and I am still hearing new songs. The collection of songs is substantial! This is a smaller toy that is perfect for on the go and not overly bulky for play in a car seat during a ride.

This toy is extremely durable, my son has drooled, chewed, tossed, smashed, I've dropped it by accident a couple times, and in no way has there been any degradation in the toy. One of the coolest features (in my humble opinion) is the green disc can be turned quickly to speed up the music, or turned slowly to slow the music. If you go back and forth with the disc, it makes a record scratching sound. It also has the other dial which teaches musical instruments and various tones and tempos in which they are played. All in all, not bad at all for a toy that's less than $20.

I bought two of these for little toddlers in my family, and they loved them. They carry them around and play the tunes and try to sing and dance -soooo cute!!! This is a great toy and I will be buying many more of them.
