Another lemon! As I took it out of the box the "bells and whistles" started going off (good sign) but while taking it off the packaging, the darn thing broke! My hands are not that strong (arthritis) so if inadvertedly pressing too hard broke it, I can't imagine how it could survive a toddler.

THIS TOY IS SO STUPID MY SON LOVES LIGHTS AND BUTTONS AND I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE GOOD BUT IT BARELY HAS ANY LIGHTS AND HAS A TOTAL OF 2 BUTTONS AND ONE DIAL IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURE TO HAVE LOTS OF BUTTONS BUT ITS JUST ONE BUTTON WITH A BIG STICKER ON IT WITH PICTURES OF LOTS OF BUTTONS.I ORDERED IT FOR CHRISTMAS FOR MY ONE YEAR OLD I GOT IT TODAY AND JUST GAVE IT TO HIM NOW BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY HE WAS GONNA OPEN THIS DISAPOINTMENT ON CHRISTMAS DAY HE PLAYED WITH IT FOR LITERALLY 10 SECONDS TOPS. LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO FIND A REPLACEMENT GIFT BECAUSE THIS IS A TOTAL LET DOWN DONT WASTE THE MONEY. IF YOUR CHILD LIKES LIGHTS AND BUTTONS GET THE VTECH BRIGHT LIGHTS PHONE IT KEEPS THEM BUSY AND HAPPY NOT EVEN MY TV REMOTE CAN COMPARE TO THAT PHONE HE CARRIES IT WITH HIM EVERYWHERE.

My son loves phones, digital cameras, etc., so I got this for him (he's was 2-years-old). It kept him occupied longer than the average toy, and it makes a lot of different sounds and even vibrates, which is a hit. But it is hard to hear the noises. which could be a plus for you).
