Our 14 month old son loves this set. We almost returned it because it is so much smaller than his felt Land of Nod Fruit and Veggie sets (which are much larger than any other play food sets, and I'm pretty sure most play food sets are smaller than this set is, so I'd say its medium sized for play foods), but we decided to keep it and I'm so glad we did. Our son loves this set. It is the perfect size for his little hands and he has been carrying around the carrots and green beans for days. It is made of very sturdy canvas, and the cute bowl also doubles as an awesome toddler hat... says our son. :)
