These ducks have the classic look but they don't stay upright. They float on their sides. Also, they don't really squeak. Our 5-month old completely ignores them, so I can't really estimate their educational value. I'll be looking for better product.

The bad thing about these is they have the holes on the bottom. I don't like that, because eventually they get mildew inside of them.

Overall, they are what they are at a good price.

No noticable smells or anything.
