My First Camera Baby Toy

My daughter loves this, but not because she likes playing with cameras. Its just because it plays sounds and songs when she hits the buttons. When she hits the shutter button, there is a little picture on the back of a face that changes from happy to sad to laughing, etc. The red piece that has a 1-2-3 on it does light up when you hit the shutter button. Its not to loud nor too quiet. I guess you could say it is just right on the volume. It is made from fairly sturdy plastic. My daughter has dragged this thing everywhere and it still looks brand new.

the guy I bought this for is a 30 year old surgery resident who is really in to cameras and photography. He thought it was hilarious

Megcos Classic Toddler Rubber Ducks Set (Set Of 3) -Affordable Gift for your Little One! Item #LMID

These ducks have the classic look but they don't stay upright. They float on their sides. Also, they don't really squeak. Our 5-month old completely ignores them, so I can't really estimate their educational value. I'll be looking for better product.

The bad thing about these is they have the holes on the bottom. I don't like that, because eventually they get mildew inside of them.

Overall, they are what they are at a good price.

No noticable smells or anything.

Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe

It's a perfect gift for any toddler girl. It's the famous Cozy Coupe that has been around for years and always a favorite for any toddler except this is aimed at girls with the purple and pink design and decals and a cell phone to boot. Purchased as gift for my 2 yr old niece and she absolutely loves it! Her mom says she stays in it for hours and even has to take it inside the house because Sara will not part with it.

We had gotten a regular cozy coupe from Freecycle, but when we moved I planned to get my daughter this one (hey, princess, who wouldn't want one?). I couldn't find it at any of the stores around here, so I bought it on amazon and while it was expensive with the shipping, my daughter was sitting in the coupe before we were even done putting it together. I think the age range for 18 months might be a little low as they don't know how to peddle with their feet at that time, but by 2 definitely perfect! (This was for her second birthday). Assembly was very easy, took about 15-20 minutes (with toddler wanting to get in before done) and then she was strolling through the house with the cozy coupe. I have to admit, I like this one much better then the original one, much more fancier and very much for a little princess (girl). The phone is a little cheaper looking, but it lights up and does some sounds when you press on the button. Very cute! She will play with this for a long time and with a second girl coming in two months, I know her sister will use it also! :)

This was a Christmas present for our 20 month old little girl. She loves it, although I don't feel the wheels turn all that well. It was easy to put together and seems relatively sturdy. Our 5 year old little boy loves to get in with her (definitely a tight squeeze) and they play great together with it! All in all I would buy this again...it's great for a range of ages.

We just got ours today for our 17 month old daughter and even before we had a chance to put it together she wanted to sit in it! The wheels roll so smooth and she just loves it! She also loves phones so the phone that comes with it makes this car even better!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old granddaughter. My husband put it together (fairly easy) and we brought it to her fully assembled. It was the hit of the holiday! She absolutely loved it and spent almost the entire day in it. Her baby sister with either get it in a couple of years or I would buy another one for her. With all the problems in recent times with foreign made products, I was very happy with this made in the USA toy.

Sassy Crib Mirror

The mirror is one of the only ones I've seen that is truly a mirror and not a toy with a bunch of stuff on it and a small mirror. I love the size and simplicity of it but it does not attach well to non-traditional cribs. If the crib's side is wide this mirror will not fit.

My three-month-old daughter loves watching herself in this mirror. I hook it over the arch on a Fisher-Price bouncer chair so that it is at her eye level, and she squeals and kicks her legs for a good 10-20 minutes (she's pretty high-maintenance, so this is a long time). The corners are rounded and soft, and the plastic mirror is easy to clean. It's such a simple toy--no lights or sounds, no batteries required--but for a baby her age, it's perfect.

My three-month-old adores looking at herself in this mirror attached to her crib. When I need a few minutes to get things done, I put her in her bed and she occupies herself "talking" to her image for a good 5-10 minutes. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it came with a ripped seam in back but that does not affect its functionality.

Melissa & Doug Stop Sign (Vehicles) Jumbo Puzzle

I have purchased Melissa and Doug items for 5 years now. The puzzles that I purchased for my daughter 3 or 4 years ago were actually solid wood. I just went to the closet and looked at them and the backs of both the puzzles and the puzzle pieces are wood. I purchased this one and several others for my 1 year old son. Several layers of these puzzles are now mdf fiberboard including the back layer of both the puzzle and the individual puzzle pieces. Only the core appears to be wood. If a baby puts this in his or her mouth, as most 1 year olds do, the fiber will swell or deteriorate. You can no longer wipe the surface with a damp washcloth as you could with a wood puzzle or the puzzle piece will be damaged. I am very disappointed with Melissa and Doug. I wonder how many of their other products are no longer solid wood.

It's true that the Melissa and Doug toys have gone down in quality over the years. The wood puzzles are now pressed wood, the colors are no longer painted completely on the pieces (only the top of the puzzle piece is painted), and the colors chip off much easier. However, the puzzles are still great for the kids, and the toy is more durable than any of those silly cardboard puzzles on the market. Recommended.

My twins love this gym . It is a bit smaller so I can't put both of them together and that is the only negative point I could find in it . Other wise they love kicking Squirt and love watching Nemo . I think they like their big eyes :) .

Great little play gym... My little guy loves to kick squirt and make nemo "swim" the tunes are pretty good.. I think there are 3?? Only problem is my lil guy is pretty long 27in and there's no way to extend the "arms" if u will so that the arch is overhead, which is a shame because he doesn't need to look up to play with the hanging toys. Can't hav everything I guess. I would buy it again simply because the colors are normal and not obnoxious and the toys are pretty nice.

Manhattan Toy Natural Rattle

I don't like how this smells it smells like some sort of paint/finish. It's supposed to be non-toxic so it probably is but since my son "plays" primarily by tasting, sucking, chewing and biting it doesn't make me feel like it's the best for him. It's not the manufacturer's fault it does say naturally finished somehow I though that meant unfinished but the two are not the same. I'm keeping it for when he's older and will enjoy manipulating the beads without having the compulsion to taste them and the thought of me sucking on it is gross so I won't let him do it either.

Update: It no longer smells but I can't say my son has loved the toy either. I still think it's neat but maybe it's better in the hands of an older kid as something to fiddle with.

My baby finds this toy boring after less than a minute. It has two settings (colors and music) but they are both essentially the same. The color setting says a color then plays the music from the music setting. My daughter just ends up staring out the window.

She loves it and it gives us a break. I love that it is mesh in between the outside float and where she sits. She can splash and blow bubbles in the water. The only thing is that when she gets really excited reaches towards something she wants she can almost push herself out of it. I would definitely recommend it!

My 22 month old daughter has had this dollhouse for 2 months now and still plays with it almost every day. We have a lot of toys and this is the only one she requests when it is put away. Initially, I thought it was too small because it has only 2 small floors and a few pieces of furniture, but none of that matters to her. It's a great size for other figures from other brands and because it's so simple, any other doll works with the furniture (e.g., there are no awkward shaped chairs to sit in, just flat-bottomed chairs).

Just received the dollhouse and plan to give it as a gift-so it hasn't been played with. It looks really cute and totally appropriate for toddlers. One disappointment is that the brother and sister figures were not included, as described in the description. Still, it came with the mother, father and baby, and book.

Santa got this for my two year old last year. Almost a year later, it hasn't really seen much action. It is fairly well constructed. My daughter liked being able to hide the people inside the hinged roof. The roof has snapped off numerous times but so far I have been able to snap it back on. I wouldn't pay $45 for this. It's small and has a limited play area. Maybe if this was your child's first exposure to small dolls and a dollhouse you'd be okay. But my daughter has older siblings and was already playing with Little People, Polly Pockets and generic doll house dolls. So these chunky wooden guys were not as appealing to her. For the record, the book does not have a great story and it is REALLY LOUD. We put packing tape over the speaker to muffle it and then it eventually ended up inexplicably "lost".

Bought 2 of these as Christmas gifts for a 13 month old and a 2 year old. Part plastic, part wood that's been sanded very smooth, very nicely contructed. Fat pieces that small hands can grab. Colorful and the house and people are just the right size for a small child. I have no doubt that the recipients will enjoy their dollhouses and that it will hold up to their play. I am not familiar with the company who produces these but I trust buying through Amazon. I was pleased with this purchase and would likely buy this again should the need arise.

We got this for our daughter last year for Christmas at twice the price that is showing now and it is one of her favorite toys. She loves the people (we bought additional people) and the pieces are easy to manage and not too tiny. In fact, I think this is the only dollhouse I found that was for under 3. It is very durable (except she did break the table recently) and well worth the bargain price I'm seeing now. Way better than the Little People sets, in my opinion.

Well, I found that she was able to pull the small felt foot off. Upon

closer inspection of the other attached foot, it appears to be hand

sewn to the body of the duck with only a few stitches. The size of

this foot is perfect for a small child to choke on. I will no longer

be letting my children play with this stuffed animal.

I contacted the company and let them know what happened, and they never responded...

I bought this as a bunny plush collector, but it's clear that this plush is best suited for babies and nurseries. Not just as a decoration, it's appears to be a very good safe plush with no parts to fall off or get pulled out, etc. Eyes and nose are sewn in, nothing can break off. Very soft good squishy bunny plush that is a joy to pet like a real bunny (and it can't bite you or make a mess like a real pet rabbit, which I have one as wellmine is scary but somehow sweet too).

I got the Petal bunny which is naturally adorable in every way. It has a strange overwhelming charm (being a bunny with pink fur) and is handmade, adds to the love all around.

This very soft plush happens to be very small in size, but very portable for those on the go. I appreciate the smallness of Petal bunny as my bed is overrun by stuffed animals from Hello Kitty/Charmmy Kitty, Build-a-Bear Workshop plushes, bunnies and more bunnies of all sorts.

So, I'm thankful for the smallness, but could be a problem for others because of the high price. Though the smallness is more the right size for a baby to hug and hold instead of a larger plush that could do possible harm. No worries here on this soft small bunny. I love this super cute thing :)

Wood Spinning Top Toy Game Antique Wooden Vintage Reprodution

We have been collecting tops lately because our little kids are obsessed with beyblades and now all things spinning. This top is lovely but I don't really see "dancing" much. It is a bit difficult to figure out how to spin it, it has to be spun softly for the top to spin with the "person" upright. It is pretty and fun, but I guess I was hoping for more out of it. Overall, we love the looks of it, but it doesn't seem to get much action compared to other tops that are easier for little kids to maneuver (pull string wooden tops or small wood tops with little straight handles). Ideal for kids 8-108.

Arabic Wooden Alphabet Blocks

These blocks are very well made. The printing is surprisingly clear on the subtitles below the pictures. Good craftsmanship. My daughter loves these.

These blocks are a great investment for anyone who wants to introduce their baby/kid to arabic at an early age. They show all versions of the letter and examples of animals etc which begin with the letter. They're large, colourful and durable. Unlike the other set of (English) alphabet blocks I have, the edges on these are not sharp and they make really sturdy block towers! They're a 'must-have' for any muslim kid!!!

Pajanimals Small Plush - Sweetpea Sue

"The Pajanimals" has been around on Sprout now for a few years, but the 2012 holiday season is the first time that toys such as plush toys are being released. These include all of the major characters Sweetpea Sue, Apollo, Cowbella and Squacky.

While there have been some complaints about the larger versions of the toys (at least Sweetpea) being not very well made and not really looking like the characters, I am pleased to say that this smaller sized Sweetpea, which measures about 8 inches tall, is excellent. Sweetpea looks very much like the televised character and is a good size to hold in just one hand and cuddle. She is wearing her pajama dress and ribbons and also comes with a hook at the top.

I rate this as five stars in all of Amazon's rating areas except educational (and really, this shouldn't be included by default for toys that aren't specifically advertised as educational), but I still give it three stars if only because it may help kids to remember good bedtime habits, and perhaps encourage them to watch the show even more.

Perfect size for my daughter she loves the pajaminals and this is perfect for her to hold onto while she watches the show!
