We absolutely love this toy. I read the guy's review about how poor the pitch/sound quality is for this toy. We are not classical musicians, so we are not offended by the music itself. Our baby loves the flashing lights, and it's fun to activate the different instruments individually. The colors are bright and engaging, and it's fun to change up the sound of the music. I highly recommend this toy.

This is heavy and appropriate for babies starting under a year old. Each side plays a unique instrument, so a baby can learn to distinguish those different sounds.

The sound quality is beyond expectations, it is so good. You have to stay on top of changing the batteries. In fact, start buying all sizes of batteries in large discount containers as so many toys use batteries.

The toy is heavy. I don't think that's a problem. The corners are rounded and my kids didn't throw it or bang it on things (maybe because it's heavy but not sure why they didn't do those things).

There is a natural progression of toy from this one. From here once they're just a little older, you can get the Fisher Price unit that has so many knobs and keys that play different tunes. And so on.

In other words, this toy is actually among the first group in a series of toys that play tunes. Babies like this toy, I know because of my own kids.

Gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas and now, at age 11 month it is her very favorite toy. She bounces and smiles and claps to the music. She is able to make it play and gets so excited by the music she just bubbles with delight. The classical music is less tiring to adults than other ditties and mom and dad have to listen to it alot!

It's well made and cleverly designed. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my baby. He LOVES it! Each side plays music and lights up when you push it, so no matter what side your baby pushes he gets sound and lights. My baby loves repetative, noisy toys. This is great for him.

My only con for this toy is the volume, it is kind of loud. Some toys you have the option of volume, high or low. This one is just high, or turn it off. Other than that, my baby loves it. It is a fun toy for him.
