This toy was purchased for a 10 month old boy. It has no dangerous parts to pull off. It is light and easy for him to to grab, shake and wave around. He is attracted to the bright colors. It was a successful gift. I like it myself because it is unusual and artistic. I will check back with his parents in a couple of months to assess durability, but is has remained intact since Christmas. (It is now mid-April)Save 50% Off
