Educo GrabHappy Ring Rattle
My little girl (8 mo) loves this toy! It was one of the first toys she could really grab onto when she was still a newborn. I love the simple design, and I love that it's made of wood. She chews on it, shakes it around, and just loves to see it when I bring it out. The only down-side is that it kind of hurts when she whacks herself in the head with it... But, she's learning not to do that so much these days:)My sister-in-law got this rattle for my son 3 months ago (he is now 7 months old). He has loved it since the moment he got it and it's THE toy we have to take everywhere. So far, it's held up very well and he's been going through his "bang bang" stage for a while now, so it gets beat up a lot. Easy for baby to hold and chew on.Bought this last week for my 6 month old. She loved it (and so did I) until she dropped it and one of the wooden discs broke right in half. It's understandable that wood can break, but baby toys need to be able to withstand being dropped, smashed, gnawed and otherwise. Additionally, the pieces that came off were a total choking hazard. Bad news. If the discs were made of the same construction that the ring is made of, perhaps it would be more durable.
