The bear went over great on V-Day. I kind of gambled because its hard to tell what the texture and softness of the bear is, but he's REALLY soft and well made. A good value too.
Bought two of these bears for my twins 2nd Christmas. The size is great because I wanted something they could hug, but that would also be big enough to remain huggable as they got bigger. This was just right since it's not too oversized, but definitely not small. It's super soft. The disappointing part is that the black fur is remarkably linty--if that's the right word. The black fur fluffs off and it bothers me because when my kids sleep with it in their cribs, they wake up with fur stuck to the drool around their mouths, or wrapped around their pacifier. I don't think it's enough to be a chocking hazard, but it's enough that I don't like what I see and could gag them a little. At first I thought it was just because it was new, but they've had daily love since Dec (so 2.5 months now) and it's not much better. Also the threads used to show toes on the bear's foot pads pulled right off after only a few weeks.

The bear looked adorable in the picture but in-hand it is too cute for words! It is the perfect size for my 4 year old son. He loves it. The bear is well made as well. This was well worth the price! Totally recommend it.
