I've been buying up several of these little teethers in various colors for baby presents lately, and this is by far the cutest one. I thought the fabric would be the thinner cotton, but it is actually the same stretchy cotton-velour as the solid-color ones. Here I thought I was making a sacrifice to get the gorgeous colors, and it turned out to be absolutely the greatest instead! These are absolutely wonderful German-made quality and design, very versatile (both a toy and a teether; doll and ring come apart for cleaning, and soooo cute!) and the perfect size for small hands to hold on to. Stimulating with those colors, too! I wish I'd had these around when my three kids were that small! You've got to check out the colors---they come in at least seven or eight that I have been able to find, perfect for matching any presents you're giving. They even come in organic, if you want to be really careful, and invest the extra. I chose this to go with a neutral set of toys, books and clothes in orange, yellow, blue and green (they want the gender of their baby to be a surprise, so we won't know for a while what it is), and you must admit, this little teether doll is absolutely perfect to go with that!

First, the toy is adorable. Having said that, my daughter wasn't very interested in it. She was teething & puts things in her mouth & the wood ring has a funny odor to it. Maybe it's just the smell of the wood, but I wasn't comfortable with my daughter chewing on it with that odor & suppose splintering could occur if she were allowed to chew it. It looks like a teething ring after all.

I really hoped my infant would like to play with this, but she didn't really care about it. It is soft with a pleasant expression. The wood ring is a bit smaller than I expected but sturdy and a functional teether. Unfortunately after months of trying, we are passing it on to the consignment store.

Cute and well made. It was pretty straight up and down and was a little short. I would order the next bigger size if I were to order it again. The color was hard to match to any maccasins I found, so I made fringed boots using slippers I found at Target and some reddish/brown fleece.

Perfect sizing. Great price.

Very comfortable for my son most costumes can completely immobilize a child.

Might want to pull it out of the package and hang it for a few days before using cause it has some funny wrinkles in it.

It was made out of really cheap material which is OK because it was a cheap costume, but it was not that cheap. I understand paying for the "Angry Birds" name, but the quality I received from other costumes for my other kids I would bypass this one.

When you get it, there are massive wrinkles where the custom was folded. I attempted to steam them out. Still there. I attempted to Iron them out. Still there. I thought maybe a wash would help. After washing on gentle in my machine there were hundreds of tiny wrinkles in addition to the big ones I was trying to remove.

People see it and just love the pig. My kid is 1-year-old and 80-90%-tile, and this is just fit for him, so be careful and don't buy this for your 2-year-old if s/he is in high percentile. Material is those plastic fabric, so don't expect your kid can wear them for too long or they can get hot. What can you expect for that price and for thing that you only wear for 1-2 hours.

Sassy Crib Mirror

The mirror is one of the only ones I've seen that is truly a mirror and not a toy with a bunch of stuff on it and a small mirror. I love the size and simplicity of it but it does not attach well to non-traditional cribs. If the crib's side is wide this mirror will not fit.

My three-month-old daughter loves watching herself in this mirror. I hook it over the arch on a Fisher-Price bouncer chair so that it is at her eye level, and she squeals and kicks her legs for a good 10-20 minutes (she's pretty high-maintenance, so this is a long time). The corners are rounded and soft, and the plastic mirror is easy to clean. It's such a simple toy--no lights or sounds, no batteries required--but for a baby her age, it's perfect.

My three-month-old adores looking at herself in this mirror attached to her crib. When I need a few minutes to get things done, I put her in her bed and she occupies herself "talking" to her image for a good 5-10 minutes. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it came with a ripped seam in back but that does not affect its functionality.

Once i received it i was shocked at how small it was, then the pull string kept getting stuck, it barely moved across our hardwood flooring, and the overall quality seemed a bit cheaper than dollar store toys. =/

If you're looking for a toy that you don't care if it gets destroyed within a day or 2 then this is perfect BUT not worth more than $1. I'd recommend just going to the dollar store for a "okay to destroy" toy.

I got this for my 2yr old son and thought it might be a little 'too babyish' for him....but he loves it. We put it in his crib last night and I rocked him while the music played softly in the background for about 10 mins and he was fast asleep. When I went to get him out of the crib this morning he was holding the toy and had to get it out too...he's been carrying it around and playing with the remote too. I really wish I would have had this when my boys were babies....very neat little lullaby toy. The remote works great and you can adjust the volume (which many toys don't allow). I bought this toy for my 3 mo old daughter for Christmas 2007. She loved it. It was such a cute toy and really aided in her sleeping by herself as she got older. It was fun to peek in on her reaching her finger to make the toy play music or nature sounds. A couple of years later and her little brother came along and he also loved it. They had a hard time sharing, but it would go in his crib when he went to sleep and then when she went down a half hour later with her. Fast forward another couple of years and they both still love it. I tend my baby niece (8 mo) who also loves it. Came on the internet to see if I could find it for a Christmas present for her, but see it isn't available any more. So sad as my husband just commented to me it was probably the one baby item we purchased that we truly got more value out of it than we paid. It is a great toy.

Great costume for a toddler. The fit depends on the size of your child. My 16-month old has a long torso with broad shoulders, so the crotch (plastic snaps along the inseams) comes up a bit high and it can be a struggle to get her arms in the sleeves, but it looks great on her. It's comfortable and easy to move in, but it can get hot since its 100% polyester. The booties can stretch but don't expect them to fit over most shoes. The little hat has elastic on the back so it stretches easily. Mom stuff aside, this is such a cute costume!! I liken this to what a pirate captain would wear -no tears or frayed edges, but some velvet touches, leather shoulder "epaulettes" and a nice frilly collar. Great playtime piece.

I bought this costume as a gift for a friend for her grandson. She loved the costume. He was super cute in it and it's really true to size. It fit him perfectly. I was looking for a pirate costume for an infant everywhere and I was glad I found this on Amazon. I really don't have any complaints however, my friend had a hard time putting it on her grandson because she didn't see there were button on the pants besides the opening in the back. I had to show her there were snaps on the pants since it wasn't very apparent unless you were looking for them. I only knew because my son's lion costume was the same way. Also, I would mention that it was thin so it wouldn't be a good costume to wear without a coat if your Halloween's are like the Midwest where it's typically very cold on Halloween.

I got his for 5 month old boy and it is adorable. I love the all in one aspect so we aren't struggling with tons of layers and the snap at the bottom is perfect. We bought this for our 17 month old son to wear to My Nieces Themed Birthday party and it was super cute, fit him well, I even drew a mustache and beard on him, it was cute and he seemed comfortable in it. I was so psyched to get these for my one year old. We have other Boon brand toys that are really fun and creative. I love the colors of these creatures, but that's it. I am SO disappointed in them. They don't fit together and are basically just cups with holes that aren't fun. They advertise them that you'll switch them around but that's not possible. The pieces match up but do not stay together, making them very frustrating to play withfor me and for my kid. Skip this item for sure.

The Boon products are so cute and well designed usually, but these creatures don't snap together, so they tend to fall off the bases. They're not even very easy to put together. Do they float in the the tub and give baby something to pour water out of? Yes. Do they sit as pictured when not in use? Not really.

These toys are very cute, but other than that, they've been a big disappointment. The tops and bottoms don't stick together, which pretty much makes these useless. Lucky for Boon, my kids figured out that they make pretty decent pouring toys (since some of the tops have different hole configurations). Otherwise, I would have given these one star instead of two.

I really love the design of Boon's products but this one definitely missed the mark. I wanted the cups to snap together and they don't. So you can kind of set them up on the edge of the bathtub and if NO ONE touches them then they stay together but that's not much fun. So like the others said they are basically just cups with holes. I wouldn't recommend them.

K's Kids Block N Learn

I got this toy when my son was 9 months. At the time, I mainly just liked the fact that these were fabric and that we could look at numbers and pictures and label them. Now that he's entering the pretend play realm, I am realizing what a great choice these were. I didn't want to get a barn that did to much of the entertaining, so that he could exercise his imagination. But the farmhouse we ended up getting is limited in pieces and this supplements it really well. We use the blocks as food (what's great are the flaps that transform a whole apple to an eaten apple, a full cup to and empty cup, a whole fish to an eaten fish, and we even have a sheep that can be sheered and a sweater that can be woven from the wool). And, of course, we can always stack up another house. I'm looking forward to when he will be more interested in the puzzle aspect as well! Great product for facilitating imagination!

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my 1 year old. He loves setting them up & knocking them down. He also loves throwing them at everything, so it helps that they're so soft. It is helping us introduce him to numbers and he is able to identify several of the other images on the blocks. Great product.

Haba Ballino Clutching toy

This ball is very well made, tennis ball sized. A bungee cord holds it together giving it the ability to bend from side to side producing a nice wooden clak. My 7 month old has had this for a few months and she definitely likes it. I admit I thought it was a bit of an odd shape for a baby to pick up but my daughter doesn't seem to care and has no problems with it and even seems to enjoy the unusual build of it. She still sucks on the ball although you would think that would be hard too. It looks fascinating when it's spun like a top. I imagine she will continue to like this ball as she grows and can start to really participate in rolling it about. As for us adults in the house, we find ourselves absently-mindly holding it and softly clacking it from one side to anotherahhh... baby toy therapy.

I bought this for my niece when she was about a year old. She's starting to learn some simple words, and she can identify the colors on the toy, and that it is a ball, and so on, so there is an education aspect to it. Of course, she doesn't know that, so she just thinks it's fun. When she shakes the toy, the wooden plates make a clacking sound that she likes and it's not too annoying for the parents. As a side note, how many electronic toys can make that claim? I also bought several other Haba toys at the same time as this one and they are all equally well made, and still played with. An excellent buy.

This is just a few wooden discs tied via a rubber band. I was very skeptical at first. It actually works. My daughter is glued to it. When you play catch; it does make clicking sound. She likes to grab it and play with it for long times. I hope it is made of good quality paint.. as she chews a lot too. Count less hours of fun and price less smiles.

We bought this for my son at birth, and he definitely had to "grow into it". He started taking interest at 6 months, and still discovers it from time to time now at 8 months. As he becomes more dexterous, I suspect he will have more fun with it. It's hard to grasp for little hands. They want to put it into their mouths, but it's big enough to be a clumsy and fruitless effort. It's very well made and attractive, but at this stage does not keep his interest for long periods of time yet.

May 6, 2010 My 9 month old daughter LOVES this toy. She is so amazed to be mobile. Right now, she can only manage to push it in a straight line. It seems hard to maneuver for beginning walkers. Luckily, we have an open floor plan so she can go right from the living room through the kitchen into the dining room before she has to stop and turn around. I can see her using this for awhile though... putting dollies on it and pushing them around. She wants to play with it every day and gets upset when she can't.

Durability: So far we have had no problems. I read reviews that complained that the handle bar comes unglued. The version I received has a screw holding the handle bar in place. We've had it for a month and no defects have come about.

I was happy with this until the top bar came loose just a few days after we bought it! My 20 month old fell forward and landed with his neck on one of the vertical parts. It was terrible, and all because their glue didn't hold. If you buy this, please screw the top bar in place so this doesn't happen to you. This is not the only Melissa and Doug toy we have had glue issues with. Not recommended.

My son loved this toy when he saw that he could walk with it. It was so cute and he was so cute pushing it. A simple trip and he hit his forehead on the sharp edged spinning fish and left a gash right between his eyes that the Dr said would leave a scar! There was blood everywhere! I see from the reviews that this has happened to others and I can't believe that they haven't fixed it by rounding off the edges since it's a known issue.

Wow, what a bummer. We have lots of Melissa and Doug toys, and I've always been very happy with their quality and durability. This one however, is shameful! My first clue should have been as I was taking it out of the box, the top layer of cheap wood splintered off. Had I bought it in a store, I'd have taken it right back. This was a birthday present for our daughter though, and bought online, so I thought "Well, it's just one strip of wood." Our child loved this toy right away...that being said, within the first week the entire area of blue wood began splintering off. All over the floor. Not only could my daughter have choked on a piece, but she could have scraped or cut herself, etc.

Cheap craftsmanship aside, my daughter has lost her balance and toppled over the top bar twice, and hit her head on the wooden alligators. Now, the toy didn't cause her to lose her balance, but considering this is a toy made for toddlers, and toddlers tend to topple, wouldn't they have thought of the possible injuries?

Overall, an INCREDIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT and I'm sorry to say that it's made me a little wary of Melissa and Doug toys in general.

However, wooden slivers from the plywood side panel began flaking and breaking off almost immediately. Each broken piece is about an inch long and incredibly dangerous. Attached very well to a Graco crib. Music ("Adon Olam")is very sweet and delicate. Music box have a button and batteries included. It have a motor that rotates the mobile. Very sweet toys. Tzedakkah (charity) box have a coin, you can pull it out and it's goes back inside. A mobile made well and have bright colors.

The only thingmobile gets too low when fully assembled if baby's mattress in it's most upper position. This why I hanging the mobile straight to a hook without a music box for now. It's works fine for me, not a big deal.

When we will lower a bit baby's mattress, we'll assemble the toy as it meant to be.

7-PC Wood Lacing Toy

The lacing toy is good for keeping our 2-yr.-old son occupied during Mass in church on Sundays. It's hard to find much in the area of religious-themed toys that can be played with quietly in church, so this is very welcome. I was afraid a lacing toy might be more of a "girly" toy (think sewing or embroidering), but I forgot how much my son likes to stick things into other things (keys in keyholes, play screws and nails into pretend wood, etc.). These lacing cards fit that category for him.

Munchkin Baby Bath Turtles

We own these, they are durable, easy to clean (don't get mildewy) and link together as they float in the tub. My 1 yr old enjoys them. I like them because they scoop up and dry off easily between baths, as well as stay bright and colorful after a year of bathing. I have even run them through the washing machine.

I too thought these were really adorable and was very excited for my daughter to play with them at bath time. However, I was saddened to find out that they are very poorly designed. First of all, they float upside down the majority of the time and second they get alot of condensation inside of them...which makes me worry that the interior area that I CANNOT see may be full of mildew. Cute idea...but I think the company needs to rethink the design a bit!

Somewhere I read that these toys are watertight, but it's not true. Condensation has developed inside both the mirror turtle and the rattle turtle in our set. In fact, the rattle doesn't make noise because the beads are stuck to the side. The entire set also tends to flip upside down when in the water. We still have these next to the tub, and they do provide a little visual interest from time to time, but I would not buy these again or recommend them unless the company makes some design changes. If you are unfortunate enough to have plunked down the money like I did, remember to store the spinning turtles upside down so that the water can drip out between uses. As for the other two, once the water gets in, you may never get it out (just hope your kid doesn't suck on them.....eeuuuuw!)

I received Itty Bit as a present before my baby was born. I figured it would just sit on the shelf as a decoration since none of my other children played with stuffed animals when they were babies. I was wrong! As soon as my baby was old enough to sit up and hold onto something, it became his favorite. Whenever he sees it his eyes light up and he smiles the biggest smile. Itty Bit is small -just the right size for baby to snuggle. It is also very soft with nothing dangerous for baby to chew off. The small size also makes it a great "security" item since it tucks nicely into the diaper bag. The only con is that if your baby loves it as much as mine, you will need to buy more than one while the other is washing or in case you loose it.

I am an adult who collects stuffed animals and this cute little bunny, Ittybit, is my favorite yet! He is made of the softest, cuddly-est fabric and stuffing I ever felt and his pose is so endearing! I recommend purchasing Ittybit for every young child and adult you know!

Bought this bunny from Amazon for my niece's baby shower, but I had a hard time getting it away from my 10-year-old daughter to wrap it! It's extremely soft and cuddly, and most importantly, has no buttons or other glued or sewed on attachments that can come off in a baby's mouth. Eyes and nose are done as stitching and are smooth and blend in well with the bunny's fur. A perfect little "cuddly" for a baby to bond with and keep for a long time. I will buy the Ittybit stuffed animals again in the future.

It's a great product, very well made and quite entertaining. My son was 8 months old when I bought it and at the beginning he was only interested in chewing on the beads and maybe a little bit watching how I move the beads; but now (9 months) more and more often I find him sitting and playing with it by himself. He examines the beads, moves them from place to place etc. It keeps him entertained for about 15 min which is the longest stretch of time for one singe toy. Overall I am happy with this toy, the only drawback is that some of the beads are plastic (the yellow and the green ones) and I was expecting all wood.

The toy itself is a lot of fun for my 1 year old. He likes to move the beads and shake the whole thing over his head.

My only wish is that the suction cups either worked better or just weren't there. We have tried sticking it on wood furniture and windows and hard wood floors but it can't hold out against a few tugs from the baby.

He still likes it but don't expect to be able to put it in one set place.

I purchased this for my 9-month old son. This is a great starter bead toy and it really helped him get the concept of using fine motor control to push the beads along the coil. Of course, he still loves to just pick it up and stick the whole thing in his mouth, but I've really noticed him getting better and better at using the toy over the past month. He doesn't seem to get sick of it, either. The bright colors of the beads and coil draws his attention and the beads are of different size, which my son really likes he seems to have a preference for some beads over others. I think he'll get a lot of use out of this because he still has a long way to go before using it perfectly.
