Review update: We removed the canopy section, which just snaps on and off. This toy is far and away my son's favorite toy. After having it for over a month, it is the only toy he plays with every single day, and most often. He loves sending the balls down the slide over and over. Definitely, this was one of my better toy buys, even with the issue I brought up in my initial review.
Original review:
I bought this toy for my 9 month old son. He cannot stand unsupported yet. He tries to pull himself up using this toy and the top canopy (leafy) section snaps off, causing him to fall. The toy hasn't broken yet, but I think this toy might be better for children who can already stand unsupported or who are content to sit on the floor to play with it.
Other than that, he likes the sounds and lights, and likes lifting up the hippo and alligator to look for the balls. So, good concept overall, just needs to be a little sturdier for those under 1 year.My sweet grand baby is 16mos and while this toy had great intentions it certainly fell short in durability because she was able to remove the top of the tree with little effort leaving her beautiful little face with a blemished scratch.
