Both my 6 year old and my nearly 3 year old still love this toy. The quality is excellent. The colors are vibrant and the little faces painted on the top pieces are very cute. There are lots of pieces so you really need to keep track while the kids are playing with this toy but you get that with many children's toys. I bought this for my 16 month old son because he likes to take my dvds off the spindle and put them back on, which isn't so good. this is bigger then i expected and very durable. it has a low center of gravity, so it rolls nice. Not disappointed. A little pricey, but i love Haba toys.

LEGO DUPLO 6759 Busy Farm

My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday, and she loves it! Each page has 4 lines of text for the parent to read, and then says, for example, "Let's build Bright-eyed Rooster. What does he say?" The pages each have a detailed illustration of the storyline plus a picture of the blocks used to make each animal. My favorite thing about the book is that the pictures of the blocks are printed to scale. This helps my daughter because she is able to find each block, put it on top of the corresponding picture, and then push the pieces together. The illustrations and the text are good, but certainly not remarkable. If not for the interactive piece

(putting together the lego animals), I don't think it would hold my daughter's attention, much less mine. With the lego-building activities, however, it is brilliant. The way that the reading and hands-on tasks are interspersed is perfect for keeping a young child's attention.

One other thing worth commenting on is the packaging: it comes in a clear plastic resealable bin. I am so happy they decided to package it that way. Otherwise it would be impossible to keep all the pieces together. If your child has other Legos, you will probably want to make sure these pieces don't get mixed in with the others. It would take away all the fun if you had to search for pieces each time you read the book.

I bought this for my newly 3 year old grandson. He can read quite well, but I read it to him, as he was too interested in building the toys to be bothered. The building "instructions" were very easy to follow, but he loved having them to follow. After a few tries, he was able to build the animals without the instructions, but he just liked looking at them. I think this is a great, durable toy because not only is there reading available but also small motor control manipulation, following instructions, and other good stuff. I wish it were priced at about $10 but anything Lego is expensive.

I love these little sets as gift ideas for young children! I adore the combination of a board book with DUPLO bricks! The book is very cute, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed building the different animals, as did their friends (we received sets to try out through House Party). My one critique is that the set shows a person, but does not include any people. I think the addition of a farmer would really complete the set, and make it even more interesting to young children.

I bought this when I daughter was about 4 months old. My husband and I are big Lego fans and wanted to make sure we give our daughter the same experience.

With my daughter learning to grasp, she gains sensory and motor skills. Reading the book to her, encourages language skills. Building the animals will aid with problem solving skills in her future. We can also practice color recognition and animal recognition. I also always throw in a few rounds of "Old MacDonald" to extend the fun and learning opportunities. It's a great learning tool all around.

This is a nice little set to have for young children to introduce them Legos. And the younger they are when you give it to them, the more use they will get out of it.

Levels of Discovery Jungle Jingle Table and 2 Chair Set, Multi-color

This table and chairs is perfect for our 15 month old daughter! I wanted to create a space of her very own that included a table and chairs. As hoped she loves them! The chairs are the perfect height for her to practice getting on and off of. Table is a little high yet but we can still do puzzles and have snacks on it without too much trouble. It was fairly easy to put together as well. My only complaint would be that the paint on the products is a little fragile. One of the chairs tipped over and left a huge red mark on the wall. Other than than that I would highly recommend this set.

Rubie's Costume EZ-On Romper Costume, Dragon / Dinosaur

Very cute costume. The description did not give much info on what the sizes were, other than 25-40lbs for the infant size. My son just turned 2 and weighs about 30lbs, so I went ahead and bought the infant size, even though he would be considered a toddler. The costume fit him almost perfectly, just a bit too short so that the neck of the costume was not as high on him as it probably should be. The packaging on the infant size said 6-12 months. I believe this would be WAY to big for a 6 month old. The "head" of the costume is a separate piece from the body of the costume, and my son refused to wear it. (He still looked very cute, I think!) Based on the picture, I thought the hands of the costume were mittens; they are not. The hands are attached to the outside of the sleeves, and attach to the child's wrists via elastic bands. My son didn't like the elastic, either. The costume is polyester, so it can get warm. There are two snaps in the back, and snaps up the inside of the legs to make diaper changes easier. All in all, I think this was a very cute costume, and I am glad I got it for my son.

I gave this costume one star due to the sizing chart. The chart says that the newborn size fits babies 0-3 months weighing 5-11 lbs. My son is 3 months and weighs 12 lbs, so I thought it would fit just right. WRONG! When I received the costume the package said 0-9 months (huge difference), it looked like it would fit an 18 month old. I had originally scheduled a Halloween photo shoot for Oct. 20 but pushed it back by accident to Oct. 27th and now I am glad that I did because now I have to go and look for another costume for him. Also, if you want to try and return it, the company charges a 20% restocking fee not including the shipping and handling. So just keep that in mind as well if you decide to purchase this costume.

the infant size is for up to 25 pounds, which is at the upper end of baby. certainly so big for my 4-month old that we are saving the costume for next Halloween. I think it will probably still fit. That said, it is really cute.

We got this for my son's first birthday. The first kit had a drill that was broken (it didn't vibrate like it was supposed to), so we exchanged it for a second. My son LOVES to play with and chew on the various tools. The saw, hammer, ad screw driver are soft enough that he can play with them without our worries, but have a firm shape. He giggles every time we "screw in a screw" on his knee. He also loves the vibrating drill.

Wonderworld Bouncing Sorter

My son really loves this toy. And I love the fact that it's 2-toys-in-1. It has multiple motor skills for children to learn. Not only are they learning the shapes and learning to put them in the correct slot but they are also learning the motor skills of pushing on the lever for the shape to pop out. Actually they are learning more than just that because they also learn color coordinating as well with shapes and the colors on the levers! When my son learned to use 1 hand to push the lever and 1 hand to take the shape out, he was very excited!

The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the blue lever for the square shape is a little bit off (it's a little bit lower than the rest)...it's actually not that big of a deal. And my hubby made a good point: that it's made out of wood and perhaps that particular lever wasn't sanded down the exact same as the others... Again, not too big of a deal to us.

What is a bid deal is supporting companies that make good quality wooden toys that are eco-friendly and non-toxic! THAT right there is important to our family!! And we are very grateful to have found another good company that does just this! :o)

I wasn't sure about this sorter when I bought it, as there were no reviews at the time. But two months later, I can say I'm very happy with this purchase. That's why I'm writing this detailed review now.

I wanted something to help my then 13 month old identify colors as well further his interest in "fitting" different objects in corresponding holes (he loves Plan Toy's punch and drop and loves to see what else he can fit into those circles). Right from the start he could place the yellow circle into its slot and had fun stacking the other blocks. He wasn't able to figure out how to get it out using the "bouncer" button but he simply turned the base upside down and managed that way. A couple of weeks later he could do the blue square and now he can do all of them on his own. We sometimes have to help him with the green rectangle, as this is a tricky one because it appears to be a flat square (the rectangle being made from its side) but it's actually slightly longer on one side so though it looks like it should fit any side of the "square" it only fits two. Not really a big deal, but it would make more sense if it was just a square, no?

Besides the sorting feature he likes to press the colored buttons (with or without the blocks in place). I'm not sure the color coding has helped him identify the correct shape but he likes to press on one button color, while I name the color and we go back and forth this way for a minute or two. I actually think this has helped him label/identify the different colors which he is now just able to do. Another interesting aspect of this toy is two hand coordination. He knows if he presses the botton with the block in it, it will pop up (not completely out of the slot as I understood it in the product descrition). But if he then uses the same hand to grab the block, he won't be able to grab it as it will have fallen back down once his finger releases the button. He just recently is able to sometimes press with one hand, and pick up the block with the other. But mostly (after the blocks are in their slot) I press the buttons, and he picks them up out of the sorter or I will forcefully push down and have them pop out or "bounce." He likes that too, but I admit I was initally disappointed with how hard you have to press to have them "bounce" out. That's the main reason I have given this 4 stars and not 5. I think he could play with this independently longer if he could get the shapes to bounce out himself. Otherwise this is a great quality wooden sorter toy and we enjoy playing with it together.

this is a nice toy. Wood is made well, but the shapes you push to make the blocks pop off fall apart from the sorter. I am not sure if they are supposed to stay together, but it doesn't work otherwise. I may use wood glue and see what happens.

I purchased these for our (almost) 10 month old son for his stocking. I was presently surprised when they arrived, much nicer than my expectations. They are very hefty (in a good way) I didn't think my son would really play with them much at first, but he loves rolling them back and forth on the floor. A special perk for parent's, no annoying twisty ties getting them out of the package. Over all, I think these will last for years to come, and will really grow with our son. I'm very pleased I went with these and not some of the plastic ones I was considering.

This vehicle set is such a great alternative to the plastic junk sold in most stores. I bought this set for my one year old for christmas and he loves it. It just fits in the palm of my hand, it feels sturdy, and all the parts are made soo well that when my son threw it across the room (he wanted the airplane to fly) it did not chip, break, or bend. The propeller (sp?) on the plane is fun and even though the wheels and the propeller are made from plastic it is not easily breakable. Great colors, great product, recommended.

He has been rolling the truck around, and in a few minutes discovered the propeller and began turning it. The problem was due to bad Chinese manufacturing practices. Haba Teddy Pacifier Chain

I have to disagree with Fiona Bessey-Bushnell about wood. It's wood, a perfectly safe natural material. Most cutting boards are made of wood and you don't see people complaining of the microbial nightmare while chopping food.

Being from Northern Europe, I am always amazed at how many toys in the US are made of cheap plastics as opposed to that durable and great natural material: wood. Maybe I'm old fashioned by I think wood has more "soul" and is nicer to the touch.

My nine month old daughter has plenty of wood toys and they spend most of their time on the floor. Most of them have been licked and sucked on at one point or another. This does not make her sick. Having an environment too clean may actually hinder the development of the immune system. That's one of the reasons why many doctors are skeptical about the current trend involving antibacterial soaps.

Wood can be easily cleaned. Rinse and if necessary wipe with a disinfectant wipe.

I have this pacifier chain and also the heart chain and we LOVE them. They are vibrant and unique. Everyone with little ones who sees them ask where I got them. They are above and beyond any clip you can buy at your local baby store. We not only love these clips but many of the other toys from Haba. They have wonderful wood toys that spark the imagination and allow your child to interact not only react to their toys. In our home we are now anti brightly colored plastic toys that do nothing much but make noise.

Do not buy this pacifier chain. We rcvd. as gift and was happy to have. However, my 7.5 month somehow pulled the knot, the only thing holding the beads on, and when we looked down he was covered in the wooden beads. Thank goodness he didn't swallow one...but it was close call. There is nothing to stop all the small beads to pull off once the knot is undone. A very dangerous product for infants/toddlers.

This was purchased for my 17 month old child. There isn't too much to say about the squirters other than they work at described and my child seems to really enjoy them. I fill them up for him and we take turns squirting one another. I really like that it has the mesh hang up bag to allow the figures to dry and keeps the bathtub tidy.

I feel weird saying that it's only three-stars for education, because at four-months, isn't everything educational to a baby?

Anyway, this toy is very cute, but it is small, so check the dimensions before you order if you're expecting something bigger. It's a little expensive, but worth it to me. like the design and the bright colors. My daughter enjoys chewing on wood, and I enjoy knowing that she's chewing on something made to EU standards, so it isn't nearly as likely to be toxic as her plastic toys from China.

Amazingly, this froggy is my 9 month old son's favorite toy. He has a mountain of toys to choose from, and he always picks his froggy friend. He loves to shake it like a rattle and chew on it's arms. This toy is a lifesaver and I would recommend it to everyone.

UPDATE: My son is now 2 years old and he STILL loves this happy little frog. I saw some reviewers mention that they were concerned about the arms possibly being a choking hazard, and I would like to say that they are still as tightly attached as they day we got it! This toy is definitely going in the keepsake box for my son! it's so well made, I'm pretty sure my future grandchildren will play with this toy!

Of all the HABA infant toys we have purchased so far, this is my sons favorite! Our 6 month old LOVES laying on his back and sucking on the frogs "arms". Disney Toy Story - Woody Infant Costume

This costume claims to be sized for children 12-24 months but it was too small to fit my 18 month old. The costume was short on the arms and legs and the cowboy "boots" were much too small to fit his size 6 shoe. This costume was quite thin and would probably be a one time only costume, not something he could wear every so often when watching the Toy Story movies. It would probably be a decent Halloween costume for a 12 month old if you keep your expectations low.

the upside is it is comfortable over some pj's & it looks adorable in photos. quality of fabric is a bit cheap and cowboy hat & slip over boots are lame, but the price () is right! my one year old refused to wear the hat, so i tacked it to the back of the costume.

My son loved this toy from the moment he got it. He was about eight months old and we were driving across the country. Everytime he started to get fussy I would give him the giggle kitty and it would make him laugh. Listening to it for hours in the car was a bit rough on me, but it was better than him crying! he also liked to chew on the ears and feet. It stood up to the abuse quite well :) He plays with it less now, but it was a great gift!

The meowing sound is cute, I don't find it annoying like some toys. My baby also get excited when it starts to vibrate and tries to pick it up. It is a little heavy but hey babies need a challenge. The feet are soft and my baby seems to enjoy chewing on it's ears.

This toy rattles and shakes and makes a little bit of noise.

Our Physical Therapist suggested we buy it for our baby as a way to get some sensory input for him. He was very attracted to toys that vibrate and this one was easy for him to manipulate. The large heart shaped button was easy for little fingers to push.

This toy did what it was supposed to do for our son.

It was very sturdy and withstood some high falls from high chairs and cribs. It is cute and typically generated some smiles from my baby.

However, having said all of thatit is this type of toy that I try to stay away from in general. This toy does basically one thingyou push a button and it makes some noise and lights up. In this case it also shakes. But it really does not encourage exploration of the world around. It also isn't really educational. (Except in our case where it gave my baby some needed sensory stimulation and was suggested by a therapist.)

I also found that in time it became annoying because it made the same noises all the time. As my baby grew older he outgrew the need for this type of stimulation and quit playing with this toy.

Overall, I believe it's a cute toy and if your child will play with it then great. However, I would suggest some of the other toys available that are equally cute and much more longer lasting before you buy this one.

We brought this toy for our daughter when she was four months old. She loved the noise that it made and how it wiggled around. She is now 12months old and she still plays with it.

There is one problem that we had with this toy though. She would bite the ribbons that are on the top of the head and they started to come apart so we cut them off.

Other then that we love the toy.
