Corolle Tidoo Sorbet - 12" Doll

We LOVE this little doll! She's the perfect size for my 2 year old to tote around. Her eyes open and close, she feels soft (but can get wet!) and has her mouth open a little for a binkie. The only downfall we've found is that she doesn't dry as quickly as my toddler would like. Our solution has been that she can only take baths at night and then dry overnight. She's a very cute doll, I'd highly recommend her if you're looking for a soft baby who can get wet.

My daughter loves dolls and she really liked this one. I like the "life-like" body but since it is water proof its sorta a vinyl fabric that makes noise when you hug the doll, move the doll, etc. Its not too loud, I guess, but it really bothered me at first. I will also second what other reviewers said about it taking a long time to dry, so baby can't go from night bath to bed with my daughter.

Otherwise, cute doll with the Corolle sweet vanilla scent!

One last thing: the hat is small and frustrates my daughter because there is no way she can get it on the doll by herself.

I was so excited when the doll arrived ... not so after opening the box. The doll is horribly understuffed (body is soft, limbs and head are vinyl)and cannot be held upright without the head falling forward or backward. I thought that maybe the doll would "puff-up" in the water not so. My daughter was excited when she first saw the doll (it does look pretty cute), but lost interest in her on the first day because the doll cannot sit unassisted, not even when leaned onto something basically collapses into itself. I usually give products the benefit of the doubt, but this I actually regreat buying. I have the Tidoo Carling and uploaded some pictures.

Love everything about this doll EXCEPT one MAJOR FLAW. The head is NOT water tight as claimed! Maybe mine is flawed, but the head is now filled with black mold/mildew from water getting trapped in it, after only 4 months. It makes the doll look like she has bruises all over her face and head. The "vanilla scent" covers up the mildew scent somewhat (strategic?), but there is no way to remove the doll's head to clean out the mold so I guess I have to throw it out. Unfortunately, my 20 month old is very attached to this doll and has named it and takes a bath with it most every night. Very disappointing!! And yes, we did hang the doll up to dry after every bath as instructed. The only plus is that it did help her enjoy baths more when she was going through a phase of hating them. Still not worth the money.

I got my daughter this doll when she was just over one. We lost it and that is the only doll she wanted this year for christmas. It is the perfect size, cuddly, and durable. She is in love. Great doll, I would recommend to anybody with a little boy or girl wanting a baby.
