The body is one piece, and seems fairly warm--although a light layer of clothing will probably be needed by Oct 31st. The head piece just fits his head, but I guess it is to be tight.

What a find!!! Too cute of a costume. It's not as thick as I thought it would be. The tie isn't as cool as in the picture but it's still darling. My son is 22 months, and in 90% and the sz 2 worked great. Just don't dry it. The legs have velcro closures so you do need clothes underneath, which where we live is needed anyway. Oh, and the hat, the hat is to die for....way too cute!

Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table

We have owned this water play table for nearly siz months, and its play value has not decreased at all. It is short enough that our 16 month old has always been able to participate comfortably, and interesting enough that it still attracts my 4 and 6 year old children as well.

The water wheel is great fun, and the children love scooping water into its reserve to make it spin. The two levels of the table give the children individual play space if two children are playing. Now that winter is approaching, I look forward to adding sand instead of water to the table. I appreciate the easy-to-open plugs built into the basin, as it makes it easy to remove water (or sand). The toy, though sturdy, is also lightweight enough for an adult to pick up and simply pour water out, if desired. Children cannot, however, easily move or turn the table over.

I recently purchased the water wheel table after looking at just about every kind available. Although I originally wanted a sand/water combo, I'm glad that I went with the water-only version. My 21-month-old is not known for sticking with one activity for very long, but she seems to love this toy.

Though we haven't had the table for long, I am very glad I didn't spend more on the larger combo tables.

Here are the pros:

~ Extremely easy to assemble. Absolutely no tools required and assembly, from box to completion, took less than 5 minutes.

~ Very light-weight and compact. The table is easy for an adult to lift (without the water) but it is still sturdy enough for a toddler. While this table is more compact than many on the market, it will accomodate 2-3 toddlers quite easily.

~ Less messy than combo tables. No sand to mix for a muddy mess.

~ Comes with water wheel, cup and two sail boats.

Here are the Cons:

~ Mine does not appear to have a plug. No leaks this way, but a bit harder to drain. However it is small enough that an adult can easily tip it over for cleaning.

~ No cover. This is my only real complaint. If a cover had been included, this would be ideal. However, the compact size makes it easy to drain and fill, so the lack of cover isn't really a big deal.

~ The water wheel is not attached and can be knocked over pretty easily. Not a big deal, but something to note.

~ The toys are just okay. I'll be adding more.

Overall, I found the water wheel table to be a good value, particularly if you want a more compact water table that is easy to assemble, move and store.

I've always been a big fan of Step 2 products so when I was in the market for a water table this was a no-brainer purchase for my 1 year old (the 5 and 7 year old also enjoy it to some degree). While a water table in general is a lot of fun for any child I was really disappointed with the quality of this product (hence the unusually low price). I would rather pay more and get a quality plastic then this piece. The plastic is not the sturdy, durable plastic I'm accustomed to by this brand, but rather the flimsy, will crack if you drop it, plastic. Upon assembling the tower a part chipped off. Which meant the tower wouldn't hold together and that part was useless. I called Step 2 had to hold for 15 minutes to get through to anyone. Told them the tower was broken and I needed the 2 piece part sent to me. They were great and said they would only I only received one half of the tower. So that part is still useless. I'm too frustrated with the whole thing to bother calling again. I would hesitate to purchase Step 2 again in the future until I know the plastic is more durable. God-forbid someone chooses to put some weight on this thing I don't think it could support more than a few pounds without breaking a leg off. Save your money and by a Rubbermaid or Sterilite tote and fill it with a few inches of water and some rubber duckies.

My daughter has always really liked the water, so we got her this table to play with on the patio. She loves it! She's still learning to stand and move around @ 8 mo. and the table is sturdy enough for her to pull up on and hang on to for balance (supervised of course). She really likes watching the water wheel go around and splashing away!

The drain does leak a little, but it's not a big deal. When we're done playing with the water, it gets dried off and brought inside as an additional play table. We stick toys in it and she walks around the edges playing with the toys in the middle.

Great value for the money. I had looked at a bunch of the other reviews on combo sand and water tables and saw good advice to keep sand and the water as separate activities to avoide a big mess. We'll get her a sand box when she's older, since she's still too young to have sand it would just get eaten.

I own a family daycare geared towards infants and toddlers and my toddlers LOVE this water table. It keeps them busy for long periods and is just their size. Just be careful they don't try to climb in it when the water is not in it because it is very tippy!

Pavilion Bean Bag Toss Game

Hard to keep the kids attention if that is all they are playing. A bit on the flimsy side. Would be a fun carnival game.

The Pavilion Bean Bag Toss Game is propped by a dowel rod that made it too upright. The angle was wrong and made it too difficult to hit the frogs' mouths; the bean bags just bounced off. My husband shortened the rod by 8 inches to cause the board to recline, and it was a big improvement. Our two-year-old granddaughter can do it! It is not super sturdy, but sturdy enough for the price. Not too big, not too heavy.

Tolo Toys Pop-Up Teddies

My now 1 year old loved this since he was 6 months. Its a very entertaining toy and my baby learned how to push the buttons to make the bears pop out but when he pushes the bear back down into the box, my baby's finger would get pinched by the little bear's red hat. And given that my baby would bang the bears back down, he would hurt himself pretty badly. So, I made it a point to supervise him while playing with it and then i found myself not allowing him to do it himself (kinda defeats the purpose). I don't know when I'll take this out of the closet and reintroduce to baby or how he might react to it when he's older. It did serve its purpose when i wanted to entertain my baby when he was younger but then it quickly got akward when I didn't allow him to play with it as much as I was.

The first reviewer was correct, this toy is dangerous. First of all, it makes a hideous, loud cracking noise every time you push the buttons to "pop-up" the teddies. My baby was frightened by the LOUD abrupt snapping/cracking noises. Secondly, fingers and skin will get pinched by the red hats. I would not recommend this to any child, at any age.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Sweet Sounds Picnic

This is educational and cute. It teaches shape sorting as well as foods, counting, and greetings. It also sings. There really isn't anything wrong with the toy. The only reason it got 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that it's kind of expensive for what you get, which is basically a musical shape sorter. There are so many toys like this out there that you might not want or need to pay the price for this one.

Leapfrog makes a picnic basket toy that offers way more for your money. It comes with 2 cups, plates, and forks so children can play with it together but still offers the shape sorting and other educational things. It is also bigger and has less annoying music. That is the one I prefer.

I purchased two of these toys for two great granddaughters, one 9 months old and the other 17 months old. This basket full of fun and learning, both were delighted and also their mothers, (my granddaughters). It has 31 songs to listen to and sing along and also a learning experience by putting the appropriate item in the right hole. The 17 month old just put it on her arm and walked around while she tried to sing along.

Sassy Developmental Wonder Wheel Suction Toy

This is a fun and bright toy that has great suction! I have had this toy for about 2 months (my son is 6 months now) and he has enjoyed this toy since we got it. He finds new aspects to the toy every week. At first, he liked that if he hit it, it would spin. Then the next week he noticed the rings on the bottom, and the next week he noticed the small spinning boxes on the inside. It seems to excite him when he gets in his high chair! Best part is that is has great suction!

Toys can be so dependent on your child's preference so reading reviews that say 'my child loves this' always makes me wonder. However what I think is fantastic about this toy is that it is a wheel and makes a soft swooshing noise when it turns so it really grabs my childs attention and she loves it. It generally always sticks too, however if its having trouble I put a drop of water on the bottom and then attach it and it will stick. Places that she really enjoys playing with it is at her highchair and on the floor. It was also brilliant when we went on a holiday the other weekend and we stuck it to the restaurant table where she had her highchair and she enjoyed it for ages!

My child is only 4 months old but so far this toy keeps her interested while in her high chair. Now that she can reach the toy when I push her seat forward she likes to spin it and then stop it. We were given one of these as a gift. Our baby loved it as soon as she learned to grasp. And she has slept with it every night since.

We have had to order two more because we have to wash them pretty frequently and needed to have a fresh one always ready.

The trunk and the tail of the elephant specifically are good for teething, and they've held up well in the wash.

If we're blessed with another baby ever, we'll get another "cozy" lovey from this brand, but this green elephant will always have a special place in the memories of our first born sleeping soundly at night.

My 2 year old was given one of these loveys when he was an infant, and he's had it with him ever since. We currently own three of these cute little elephants. Over the 2 years of my daughter's life, we've owned and lost a couple additional ones. They have all received a lot of abuse (chewing, sucking, stomping, washing, etc.) as you'd expect from something like this. They've each held up extremely well no stitches have come loose; no fading has happened; they clean up easily; etc. Like other reviewers, we keep ours in constant circulation. After she received this as a gift and became extremely attached to it, I was delighted that I could get replacements. She can definitely tell if it's a clean version or a dirty version, so we involve her in giving it a "bath" in the washing machine (subbing a clean, dry one after the old, disgusting one is dropped in the wash). This is a wonderful toy that has a hugely positive place in my daughter's life. She loves it so much that I just bought the bear version for her little brother. We'll see if he loves it as much.

This was purchased for our newest baby. It is easy for him to grab onto (the ears, trunk, legs/arms, and tail all invite little hands to hold), it is very soft and doesn't irritate delicate skin, it soaks up drool and then can get tossed right in the washing machine. I would advise buying two so that there is one to wash and one to hold. We have only had it for a few months, so I can't comment on the long-term durability, but it seems to be well put together. As far as "educational" goes it doesn't need batteries, it doesn't have a grating mechanical voice that keeps yowling at the child long after they've moved on to something else, it isn't a "character" toy (and therefore can have lots of roles in imaginary play when the child is old enough to do so...instead of, for example, Cookie Monster play only involves saying "Me want cookie!"), it is soft and warm instead of cold and plastic... so it is a perfect toy for babies-young children.

Both my 4 year old and my 1 year old love these blocks...they stack them, climb on them, build with them, jump on them. They seem to be taking the beating quite nicely. Good quality. Take some space to store. But all in all we really like them.

I got these blocks for my nephew a few years ago he was probably about a year old. He and my niece, now 5 and 3 years old, still love playing with them! The blocks are about 4 years old now and still look like new, despite being played with hard! They are such a great hit, I am now buying another set for my son's first birthday. Highly recommend!

My 3 year old likes to stack these and knock them over. He also likes to tell me the different colors of the blocks. These blocks are very durable and can be sat on. They do tend to be a bit hard though, which is bad if your son throws things like mine does.

Learning Resources Snap Cubes, 500/Set (LER7585)

I've used snap cubes and Unifix cubes in my classroom for years. They are fantastic tools for teaching numerous math concepts such as place value, patterning, and basic addition and subtraction. I ordered this set online thinking it would be of the same quality as sets I've previously owned. However, I was disappointed to find that these cubes are made of a much lower quality plastic, so the cubes don't always snap together properly. These particular cubes frustrate my students because some pieces are too hard to connect and other pieces constantly break apart. These cubes are okay, but if I had the chance to order again, I'd look for a better set. It might be worth it to pay a bit more and get better quality. (Although, at $50 a set, I don't think these were very cheap.)

My son told me he had to have them. Most of his buddies at school had them and created some interesting things with them. My Son loves them.

My son bought these with his allowance after using them in school to learn math. He uses them like Legos to build things. They do allow for a lot of creativity, and he has enjoyed playing with them. Like another reviewer, I note that the quality doesn't seem to be all that high. I suspect that after more time some of the parts that are supposed to lock together will be too loose to do so. It also might be helpful to know that the set doesn't come with any holding case. It just comes in a cardboard shipping box that is not handy to store them in, so if you buy them you'll want a large ziploc bag or plastic bin to put them in.

This toy looked like so much fun and perfect for the busy toddler. When I received this toy, it arrived broken. One of the springs is stuck in the down position and won't pop up. Very unfortunate as this was intended to be a Santa gift. Great idea behind the toy and if it were made with better springs it would be a very successful product. I will be returning the one I purchased. I am not reordering based on several other reviews stating that theirs too arrived broken or broke within the first few weeks of play.

This toy is great for toddlers to encourage eye-hand coordination, fine motor dexterity and cause and effect. Kids of all ages and adults like to play with it too.

I thought that it would be a little bit bigger, but it is still a pretty decent size. Not too small.

And, the eyes are sewn on. I thought that they were beads.

But, overall I love this bear! It is so cute, and so valentines-y. Perfect for mine and my boyfriend's first Valentine's Day together!

Plus, it shipped here faster than the expected ship day, it got here in three days! It gave me an estimated shipping time of 4-14 days.

These cards are great. They have hints and suggestions for the adults on the reverse side. The images are not always the best options. The cards are not as durable as they say. I am overall happy with them. These cards are simplier then the other ones. Great for showing the basics of color, numbers, and objects.

My daughter has had these cards since she was born, I think, or shortly after. She has learned so many words from them! I love that the reverse side has hints for the parents of things to say while showing your child the cards, they also have translations of the word into chinese, hebrew, russian, french, spanish, and german all on each card! The photos are clear and colorful, and the sets includes blank cards to add your own pictures. We added a picture of me for "Mommy" and Dad too! She's 19 months old now and she asks for the cards frequently. They are really durable, I discourage it but she does bend them in half and chew on them occasionally but they're still in great shape!

These flashcards were meant to be used with their DVDs, which I don't own. So I'm not sure if the photos they use come from the DVDs but some of the pictures are really ugly. Overall I think there has got to be better, nicer looking flashcards.

Toddlerz Toddlin' Tunes Puppy

This is a fun little dog. My daughter is only 10 months old but she loves to listen to me play it, and also to bang on the keys herself. Of course she eats the mallet more than she uses it to hit the xylophone part, but that is to be expected. I'm not sure why it says 3-5 years. I guess that's how old you have to be to play actual songs, but even my little one loves the instant gratification of poking the keys and getting a sound. It is nice to be able to watch her pick one sound and notice that it is different than the sound made by the next key.

My boys have fun with this toy, but the string that holds the little bone shaped mallot isn't long enough. My almost 3 year old gets annoyed with it because he can't reach the other end of the keys with the mallot. Plus, he wants badly to drag it behind him and watch the puppy's tail move, but it's not long enough for him to stand up and pull it behind him. Both of my boys (the youngest is 11 months) have fun banging away on the keys. It's fun to listen to their "songs"!

I was disappointed to see that this toy did not have a one octave scale, if it did I would give it a glowing review even though the string is too short but you can easily fix that. I work with two year old children with developmental delays and I know that they enjoy singing along and pretending to play simple tunes on a xylophone which you cannot do on this toy. If I had known that it did not have 8 keys I would not have bought it. I think for the price it sells for, it could have had two more notes.

Organic Cotton Hooded Towel & Wash cloth - Frog

This is the softest thickest towel I have ever seen and wish they came in adult size! I bought another one for the baby and also bought the little terry robe. One of the towels was discounted (50% off) by one of the Amazon sellers which was a great bargain. I still think it is worth it at full price.

I love all Under the Nile products, and am a regular customer I feel I am doing a good thing for my baby when choosing organic cotton, and also support a company that has respect for its employees. There is a reason why cheap stuff is cheap quality differences, or company uses questionable labor practices.

Very thick & high quality cotton terry towel. I bought a bunch of baby towels (including a few I got sucked into b/c of cute animal hoods), but this is the one I always ended up reaching for after my baby's bath.

Some size info that people might find helpful: The manufacturer says it measures 32x32", but after regular washing over the last 8 months mine is now 30x30". This was a great size for my baby's first 8 months, but he's now outgrown it. Wish it were bigger. I'm on the hunt now for a toddler-size towel of similar quality.

Highly recommended for baby's first ~8mo, but if you want something that will last for longer I would suggest just getting a toddler-size towel from the beginning.

PS about the frog puppet: Very cute and soft. Great for distracting baby during a change (especially now that he hates being on his back ever since he started sitting up), or to get him out of a grumpy state after waking up from a nap. Now that he's teething and sticking everything in his mouth, I also feel much more comfortable sucking on this puppet (made of organic cotton) vs other toys/towels we bought.

This towel (and ANYTHING from Under The Nile really) is wonderful. High quality and super warm and soft for your little one. I put JJ Cole hooded towels on my registry to save my friends money, but they aren't worth a dollar. They ripped after just two washes and the softness is rapidly fading as well. If you love your baby stick to quality products like this!

Guess How Much I Love You Gift Set - Bunny & Book

I have seen this book before (the larger version), and loved it. When I ordered this as a gift, I didn't realize how small it was going to be. The book and the bunny are both really quite small, and almost appear to be mini versions of what you would expect to get. Again, great book, and the bunny is really cute and matches the rabbit in the book, but be aware that they are both really small. Book is approximately 4" x 5". I wouldn't have spent $20 on it had I known the size.

This is a great find.... It's our favorite bed time book and little bunny. Came packaged in a little gift box too :)
