I only bought this toy so I could get free shipping, but my 14 month old daughter loves it! She puts all sorts of things inside it, and it's quite sturdy. The bean bags sometimes get lost, and it does NOT have a volume control, but it keeps her attention longer than most toys. Wish I'd bought it when she was a bit younger.

This product is just as I expected it to be. My son seems to enjoy it. The animal noises are good except for the lion which is a man making the roar sound. The "drum sticks" come apart too easily. Overall, a good toy.

Our daughter loves this toy. She was 12 months when we found it at a garage sale and is now 17 months and it still gets the same amount of play. The melodies are cheerful and she loves to dance to them, the balls are soft and fairly durable as they have been chewed on and there are no rips or tears. She enjoys removing them, tossing them into the drum, and listening to the melodies change. The animal sounds haven't gotten as much play time the lion sound is just a man saying "rawr" and doesn't fit with the other more realistic animal sounds. Even adults found this toy amusing!

My daughter was about 13 months old when I bought this. She loves music, but this toy isn't "musical": it's loud--too loud for a child's sensitive ears. And the sounds are ridiculously boring or obnoxious. My daughter would put the little bean bag-like shape in the drum and it would play a sound, but like I said, it's so loud that it would just startle her.

I would pull this out once a month to see if it she liked it but by the time she turned 2 I just threw away the "drum" and kept the rattles, which are the only true musical part of this set, because she still didn't like it.

my baby got crazy with it, of course i had to showed her how to use it but after few days she started to use herself,, just give to your baby time to learn how the toy work,,,, remember dont let you child alone,,, NEVER!!!!!
