Munchkin Bath Shape Sorter Bath Toy

Munchkin Bath Shape Sorter Bath ToyThis toy revolutionized bathtime in our house. My son (11 months) actually "requests" a bath because he wants to play with the little shapes. He also thinks the turtle is quite fun (as a hat, translucent face mask, floating friend...). He's starting to get interested in putting the shapes into the holes, which is easier than in many shape sorters. The shapes aren't interchangeable, but the tolerance is a little more generous so it's easier for his ham-fisted coordination to succeed without perfect alignment. I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before he's interested in the pouring feature of the shapes...or perhaps that aspect of the shapes will be fun in a sandbox?

My daughter loves items that sort, stack, etc. We got a ring stacking game for the tub and she loved it. She enjoys the shape shorter we have that is outside of the tub and thought this would be a great bath time addition.

The turtle and shapes are all very fun. However, if you have more than 1 inch of water in the tub, it makes it difficult for the child to get the shape in the hole as it moves. I understand that this should be expected as it is merely floating in the water, however I expected to have just a little more boyancy than it currently does.

It serves it purpose and she enojoys playing with it as long as I hold the turtles head while she is putting the shape in the hole. As she gets older this will not be a problem as she will be able to do both at the same time. Overall, if you are wanting something like this for the tub it'll work....
