I ordered this product for my son, who was 8 months at the time, when were visiting family in the Virgin Islands. It kept him safe, secure and well shaded. Hopefully as he gets older he'll be able to grasp the educational value and learn to swim. He did do a little paddling with his feet, though.

I purchased this due to the cost and the fact that it had a sun canopy. When I opened my box, I found that the box appeared to have already been open and it was missing the sun canopy. The product was very inexpensive so I should not have been surprised to find that it felt very cheap. Thankfully, Amazon has an easy return policy and turtle float was easily returned and our money was refunded. It's worth spending a few more dollars to purchase the swimways sun canopy, which actually has a canopy and seems to be a lot more durable and comfortable for a baby.

I bought this float for my 7 month old. It is listed on swimways and Amazon waaaay over priced. If you want to buy this product, I bought mine at Target for $13 or $15. I would not buy it again though, because the canopy part does not stay up and work well. It is a good and cute float, but I needed one to protect my baby from the sun.

This is listed as suitable for a 9-24 month old. My daughter is 15mo, but unfortunately her legs are not slim enough to fit through the seat.

I ditto the previous poster. This is 14.99 at Target. Save yourself $10! It is more suited for a smaller baby.
