We got this for our eldest when she was maybe two. It has remained amongst her favorites for over two years. It's small and simple and won't stand up on its own, but I think she first loved the size of the dolls, then the way it packs into it's own case, and now that there is a princess. We never expected to get so much use out of it!

My 2.5 yr old daughter loves her slide and loves inviting her 3 yr old cousin over to the house to play on it. The way the slide levels out at the bottom allows for a safe landing and helps me relax when I see the girls going down backwards and/or head first(I don't encourage this, but we all know, turn your head for a second and the kids are creating new ways to play with their toys). They follow each other up the steps, and the slide is sturdy without sway. I'm very happy with the slide.

This product arrived on time and in good condition. It took all of 5 minutes to attach the ladder and the handles. I ordered this for my 18 month old granddaughter...and her 6 year old sister. Both of them love it and it is sturdy enough for the 6 year old and easy enough to climb for the 18 month old. Both of the girls have enjoyed this for four days straight. It's not horrible, but it is a bit flimsier than little tikes outdoor toys usually are. Made with a different plastic (more like a toy truck than a normal outdoor toy) that is also not textured so the slide is a little grippy on skin or rubber (like the soles on shoes), and the plastic scratches easily which is more nocticable bc of the lack of texture. Our other little tikes items are all made with a thicker plastic that has a very light ( not really noticeable until you don't have it) matte texture so scratches go unnoticed and bottoms slide smoothly down.

Great idea on educational front but it looks like Leapstart failed to do some testing of the product on real babies. My daughter is almost 6moths old and she can't reach any of the controls except for the moving mobile! And this is branded as a "Birth +" toy?! We might have to put this away until she's either bigger or until she can sit upright on her own and use it in sitting position. Hopefully the sit-up position is better designed so she can reach the controls on her own. We'll see. PS: I just read reviews of my First Touch Leap Pad for 6months+ and it looks like the product is not age appropriate either. This learning gym is awesome! I love that it's versatile enough so my baby can use it now, at 3 months, and continue to use it as he grows and learns to sit up. My son is a cranky baby because he has acid reflux and this is one of the few "toys" he has that he thoroughly enjoys!! He spends lots of time on the floor kicking his legs and arms about, chatting and smiling away at the blinking lights. He loves the music and really enjoys watching the spinning globe. I've read reviews of this toy with parents complaining that it's no good for an infant because they can't reach the buttons and such, but if you just invest the time in your child and help them play with it (spin the globe for them, push the buttons, etc) you will see their little faces light up with pure joy. I highly recommend this product!!!
Overall cute, looks just like the cartoon and is soft and well made. Mine just arrived with the hat lopsided, but this did not prevent my 4 year old from loving it.

My mom bought this doll for my daughter when she was first born and 2 1/2 years later she still cannot go anywhere without it! I love that the doll is soft and well made, so I never worried about putting it in the crib with my daughter, and she just simply loves it. My daughter is 2 1/2, and she carries this doll with her everywhere. She sleeps with it every night, and treats her as if she's another sister. After a year and a half of non stop playing, and washing, the doll started to show wear, and started to get some holes (which would be normal for the amount of play time the doll gets). My mother found the same doll at the store, so we switched out the old one for the new one. Dolly went into the washer dirty, and came out brand new :) The only difference in the dolls are the bottom of the feet. The first doll had white on the bottom with dots on it, the second one did not. The one with a smooth bottom has started to show wear much quicker than the one with the dots.
Superb toy. Good idea to use families instead of the single animals. Good detail, the only thing I would say is they seem to be made of a softer plastic. They seem a bit squishy not as tough as say the gorilla. All in all though top draw, defo recommend.

We received Where's My Bone when my son was 10 months old and it was almost an instant hit. He may have been a little young at first, but we still had fun. I think learning and recognizing the pages so they became familiar increased his enjoyment, and by one year this was a favorite game that he wanted to play over and over. The pages have different pockets for hiding the bone (in the fish tank, under the ball, etc.), and there are some textures as well (fluffy fabric cloud, plastic "glass" for the tank). I also use it for color recognition (Which fish is red? Yellow?). Although he's long since figured out that he can follow the string to find the bone, he still brings this book to me for us to play with (he's now 22 months), and will now hide the bone himself for us to find. We got this book together with the bee and the flower book from Manhattan toys. When our son was younger, he didn't care much for these books, but now that he's over 2 and knows his colours, this is much more fun for him. He loves to poke the bone in the various slots on the pages, like the car, water and so on. He also likes to "read" this book to his baby sister. The quality of the book is very good.
I was so psyched to get these for my one year old. We have other Boon brand toys that are really fun and creative. I love the colors of these creatures, but that's it. I am SO disappointed in them. They don't fit together and are basically just cups with holes that aren't fun. They advertise them that you'll switch them around but that's not possible. The pieces match up but do not stay together, making them very frustrating to play withfor me and for my kid. Skip this item for sure.

These toys are very cute, but other than that, they've been a big disappointment. The tops and bottoms don't stick together, which pretty much makes these useless. Lucky for Boon, my kids figured out that they make pretty decent pouring toys (since some of the tops have different hole configurations). I really love the design of Boon's products but this one definitely missed the mark. I wanted the cups to snap together and they don't. So you can kind of set them up on the edge of the bathtub and if NO ONE touches them then they stay together but that's not much fun. So like the others said they are basically just cups with holes. I wouldn't recommend them.
This is a much nicer quality than the typical toy trucks you get at retail stores. The tires feel like real rubber and it cruises along nicely on the table. The tractor and trailer separate but can easily be hooked up again by my two year old. This is a great toy to whip out in a restaurant. The only noise generated is the truck sounds made by my son!
My kids grew up with Steiff toys so when my grandchildren came along, I knew that I wanted them to experience Steiff also. This toy is perfect for my new granddaughter. Cute as a package decoration for a shower and then makes a great gift too. Recommend.

We got a Spunky as a gift for my daughter when she was a baby. Spunky is very soft and plays a lovely, comforting song. Since Spunky 1, we have purchased 4 more. Spunky 1, by then with a broken music box and a rather gray coloring, was lost in a park on vacation in Minnesota. My husband and I were as upset as our daughter. Spunky 2 arrived via overnight mail when my daughter was 22 months, and she has never looked so happy. Spunky 2, also not making music and a gray color, was lost at the Denver Zoo when my daughter was 4. Spunky 3 was picked up from the "doctor" at a local store the same day. Spunky 3, non-musical and gray, was left in Leadville last month, when my daughter was 6-1/2, and probably snow-plowed. Spunky 4 is every bit as soft and pretty and playing music now. Spunky 5 is hidden in our house should he ever be needed. Hopefully this will not happen and Spunky 5 will be for my daughter's own child. We received "Giraffe" as he is lovingly called as a baby shower gift. He was the first toy my daughter showed interest in, and now that she is almost 5 months old, he is her absolute favorite. He goes to bed with her every night, and we can't make a car trip without him. He's small enough that there's no danger of her smothering herself (which could be a problem with regular size blankies), and the three corners which aren't his head are tied in knots that are the perfect size for "nomming" (i.e. shoving in one's mouth and slobbering on). The color does fade a bit in the wash, but given the all natural dying method miYim uses with all their toys, this isn't surprising. My daughter certainly doesn't care that he is no longer bright yellow, and structurally he has held up fantastically through many washes. We'll definitely purchase other toys from this company.

I bought this for my older child to give to our new baby. I liked that it was organic cotton and thought that the giraffe was cute. When I undid the packaging, I didn't like the way the giraffe head looked on the blanket--I can't describe it, but it just isn't that cute. My older child (2 years) loves The American Bear Company Baby Cozies which are small (maybe 8") loveys that have a stuffed animal head and a flat, easy to hold/chew on body. I was so happy to finally come upon this Kido Car toy after searching in stores and on the web for the best first car for my grandson as a Christmas present. I didn't want one that sings or talks or lights up, just a good quality working vehicle for him to learn how to push and to play with using his own imagination. The Kido car has a simple, elegant design--rather Euro looking (the corresponding truck, even more so), and, IMO, artful. Nice to have a plaything be a thing of beauty. The headlights are really shiny and cool, but other than that, there are no adornments on the car. It has a pleasing round shape--nothing sharp--with an oval hole where the car interior would be, forming a natural handle that will fit childor grown-up sized hands. The white wheels have gray rubberized tires, and they spin like crazy! The toy is sturdy and shiny--a hard type of plastic that has no PVC, BPA or Phthalates. Like so many things, it is made in China, but at least this time they got the quality control right. The packaging is also just right. It comes in a box just exactly the size of the car, no extra doodads. That makes it easy to wrap, too. The cardboard is made of 100% recycled material.

I bought this as a gift for another little boy since my son has had one for a year now and he seems to like it. My son is a little over the age of one. There's nothing special about it exactly. It's a car. It has a handle. It does seem to be made well and it has put up with some abuse. I am not sure it's worth the money since it's so simple, but I guess the cost is related to the quality. I like it since it's simple enough that it doesn't require adult assistance, and yet engaging enough that a child will continue to play with it.A lot of toy cars are for kids over 3 so this is a great option for younger toddlers. It is very cute, the colors are very bright, and the car rolls very well on carpet and hardwood floors. My son seems to like it and I like that it is not flashy and does not have unnecessary cartoon characters drawn on it.
