I checked out this doll in the big box TOYS store and the standard doll with the blue eyes is very nice but a brown eyed version is wonderful. The doll does smell lightly deliciously of baby powder and is very soft and lightweight. The other reviewers are right about the interactive versions having hard bodies that are not as embraceable.

Even if you just want something other than a blonde haired, blue eyed baby doll this one's perfect!!! The baby is the perfect size for a four year seven year old girl and she's just precious!
