This toy was ok for my 15 month old. She's been fascinated by buckles, so I thought she'd love it, but she seems more frustrated with it at this stage, so maybe it's a little too hard for her yet. Also, the bottom buckle didn't take long to fall off before I had to sew it back on.
MY 18 month old son is sometimes able to close the latches on the first day. It would help if they had made the ribbons a little more sturdy, to not twist with little hands. The latches on our dog have a varied degree of difficultywhich is a surprise bonus.
