This is my 5 month old son's favorite toy right now. He loves the crinkle page, and the squeaker, even though I have to make it squeak for now. He chews on every part of this book and will drop even his fancy expensive toys at the sight of this book and reach for it. He gives it two very slobbery thumbs up!My son likes this book, but doesn't LOVE it. It was kind of a bummer that the "squeeker" bulb that's in the 3rd page isn't "kid friendly". He can't squeek it himself because he doesn't even know that it's there. It's inside the fabric of the book. I bought it as a teether book, but he didn't seem too interested at that age either for some reason... All-in-All, not too exciting for my 11 month-old son.Buy Sesame Street Teething Book Now
I got this book for my little grandaughter. She loves it. It's very colorful and is short and easy to read to her and holds her attention. She loves to put things in her mouth, so the teether is good. I highly recommend it.I regret this purchase. The book isn't bad, but there is not much too it. Why can't they take classic children's books into cloth book? There is no story line, just pictures of sesame street characters and the letters A apple, B big bird, C cookie monster written and 1 beach ball, 2 kite , 3 butterflies. So no real substance as a book. Construction-wise it is solid. The stitching is nice, the crinkle pages and rubber chew sections are nice, but as a book it flops. My daughter never really was interested. Not worth the $8. Spend the $4 on a real book and another $2 on a chew toy if your kid is teething and buy yourself a coffee with the leftover $2.This book is really cute and just what we were looking for, for my little one who loves to put everything (including her board books) in her mouth! My only big complaint about the book is that on the letter pages, it has Big Bird & Cookie Monster's names not capitalized. This is probably the teacher in me, and of course the babies won't know the difference, but does that mean it shouldn't be written correctly?
