Having grown up with a Grandmother who immigrated from Ireland I have long had an interest all things Irish. I am now a Grandmother myself and was intrigued by this bear. I purchased it for my 8 month old Grandson and he loves it. My hope is that it will spark his curiosity as he grows and that he will learn to have an interest that we can share. For now it is a wonderful companion that makes him smile.
This is a lovely Teddy and, to the best of my knowledge, unique. While it took a very long time to arrive, I was not disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone seeking something other than the usual foreign languages introduced to children. Irish is different.
