Kids Preferred Label Loveys Chime Ball

Our little guy was really enjoying a similarly sized beach-ball...but I shudder to think what that's made of...so was thrilled to see this dandy ball. At first he was kind of scared of it, with it being new, big and colorful. Once he got over the novelty, he loves it: With the labels, it's easy to grab, is weighty enough and has enough friction that it doesn't get away from him. He can hold it with one hand, both hands or give it a good wrestle with both hands and feet. The crinkle and bell add to the fun.

We've had good experiences with the Kids Preferred toys. To wash, I put their toys in a lingerie bag and machine wash on a gentle hand-wash cycle, then let them air-dry. So far, so good.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas, and at 5 months, it became her favorite toy. She generally prefers non-toys (wooden spoons, books, measuring cups), so her enthusiasm was a bit of a surprise! I like it because:

1. She's developing her grasping skills she practices grasping all the soft little tags.

2. She just loves tags! On any toy, she goes straight for the tags, and there are lots of them on here to keep her exploring for a long time.

3. Lots of different colors and textures to aid in her development

4. Easy to talk about with her the textures, colors, shapes

Ball was larger than I expected which was a good thing. My 6 month old can easily hold it since it's light and has many fun things to grab and put into the mouth of course! The chime is quite nice, not annoying at all.

I debated about this for a while but ended up buying this for my son for Christmas. I am so glad that I did! The chime is such a great sound. I never get tired of hearing it, opposed to all his other talking and rattle toys. My son is 8 months old now and still enjoys playing with the tags and making the ball make noise. It is very large and soft. You won't be disappointed!
